Hello All,

My application is almost ready and planning to send it out next week (I got PNP nomination from Ontario in FSW Backlog Pilot) . Just wanted to confirm a few things and would appreciate if someone would help:

1- My understanding is that we need to send *original* 1 page Ontario nomination certificate (with 'COPY' stamped over it in blue) along with *photocopy* of 3 page letter.
2- Do we have to get document photocopies certified by notary public this time? The checklist doesn't mention this.
3- We only have to send photocopy of Passport pages with required information (Passport#, Issue, Expiry, Photo, etc) and not the complete passport with blank pages as was the case when it was sent earlier to Ontario FSW. All this requested information is contained on 1st page of passports in Pakistan.
4- My completed IMM0008 form generation 2 pages of barcodes (barcodes + consent/declaration). I've printed 2 copies of barcode pages, one to go on top whereas the other as part of IMM0008. Hope this is correct.

Hi Fahad

I'll try to answer your queries to best of my knowledge but still don't just rely on my answers as I'm not an expert. I hope some recent applicants would guide you much better than me.

1: Don't know much about Ontario Nomination letter/letters but yes we have to send "Actual" letter of approval(Nomination letter) along with our application. Usually it is just a one page letter.

2: No we are not required to notarize any of our document except Pakistan's NIC photocopies, certified translation & an affidavit(only if you dont have a NICOP). These three things should be notarized only if these are required to send along with application. I did this but don't know about any recent changes.

3: Yes we are suppose to send just first 2 pages of our passport showing info about us. No need to copy whole of our passport.

4: What I did is, I put both barcode pages(last & 2nd last) at top of my form(IM0008). Don't print 2 copies of these barcodes as I guess it will create confusion.

I have the same confusion on some points raised byMuhammad Fahad.

I have AINP nomination. On the original nomination it says, " Submit this Nomination with your complete Application for Permanent Residence [....]"

This Nomination was accompanied by a leaflet Where do you go from here which point 1 reads, " Make a copy of your Nomination. Include a copy with your Application of Permanent Residence in Canada [...]

Then there is this Checklist for Provincial Nominees IMM5690
On page 3 of 4 point 11 which ask for a copy (not original)

So what to do?

Other point raised by Muhammad regarding the barcodes.

On the guide for provincial nominees Guide P7000 Page 21 Point 4 reads, " Place the the barcodes pages on the top of your application (forms and supporting documents) when you will submit it."
What it does not say is that you have to detach the page 5 and page 6 of Generic Application IMM0008. So again the confusion. Will detaching the above bar code pages not make the Generic applicaiton incomplete?

As written at "Nomination Letter" to submit "original" so I assume its better to submit original at CIO level because later Visa office is definitely gonna ask for it. I don't think there is any harm in sending "original" at initial stage as almost everyone is doing this.

We are suppose to put barcodes pages at top of our forms(even if it looks incomplete) & on top of our whole application(i.e all forms & documents), we have to place Doc. checklist as covering letter.

I know few applicants who forgot to put barcodes at top but still they got AOR. So these arrangement/placements are not a big deal but still it gives a nice impact if we arrange them accordingly.

My parents are in Winnipeg, however, my brother is in Ontario. My brother owns the house where parents are living in Winnipeg. While submitting online application MPNP is asking to list all relatives in Canada. In your opinion do you think may effect my application

Well nobody knows about MPNP criteria of selection & nobody can guarantee anyone.

I think you do have stronger ties to Manitoba as you'll live with your parents(rather then your brother) & your brother has a property in Winnipeg which shows that he has plans to come back. So in your case, your settlement plan matters a lot & it should clearly depicts that you have no intentions to go to any other province & you'll settle in Manitoba permanently no matter what. Your father is doing some job in Winnipeg?

Hi all

Just wanted to share a good news with you all. One of Pakistani applicant named as "danish78" receive PPR1(Passport Request 1) today.

He applied to CIO in Feb, receive MR in July & got PPR1 today, just after 2 months of submission of medicals. Unbelievable

I'm glad CHC, London is really too much speedy these days. I hope we all receive our next steps with same speed.
