Bus there. Much easier that way. I work within 10km from there so I took a taxi there (to be on time) and bus back. Was a brilliant day for the downtown bus tourI will be taking my oath on 13th July at 10:30 AM. Can anybody suggest a good parking place near 235 Queen street? Last time, I was there for my test and struggled in finding a parking spot.
Thanks!
Can not do that! I will be driving from somewhere else (2 hours aways from Ottawa) with my family for the oath.Bus there. Much easier that way. I work within 10km from there so I took a taxi there (to be on time) and bus back. Was a brilliant day for the downtown bus tour
Oh... then you're out of choices. I actually never tried to park in that area so I don't know where best to park. If you are 2 hours away, you should probably leave 3-4 hours before the ceremony for parking and any other delays..Can not do that! Can you please share your complete timeline for the tracker?Hello,
I need your advice in my case please,
I submitted my application in October and wrote the citizenship test in Ottawa early March. In the interview the agent told me to expect oath letter in 1-2 months. However, 2months later I got finger-print request from St Claire IRCC office! I submitted my finger prints right away and I called CIC a week later the agent told me the application is just waiting for the fingerprint to go through. It has been more than 6 weeks after that and my status is still (in progress). I just received the GCMS notes and it didn’t make a lot of sense.

It generally takes 4-6 weeks to FP to be updated, you should get some positive response if you call them now. Can you share your AOR and test invitation date?App sent : OCT 16, 2017

If you have oath at 10:30 then you will most likely be able to park inside the same building you are taking the oath. For details take a look on the google street maps. Can not do that! I will be driving from somewhere else (2 hours aways from Ottawa) with my family for the oath.

Earlier times are reserved for permit holders, at your time parking will be open to the rest. Otherwise there is also an indor parking just across the street steps away.
If both parkings are occupied make a circle around the block, there are mostly one way streets there. There are plenty of well marked street parking spots available in the vicinity. Just plan some additional time for that.
Thanks! I will keep this on top the list.Impark @ constitution square on Albert St $15-$20 a day 4 min walk to 235 queens
