Someone said the judge asked for the driver's license... which makes me wonder.... what if I have applied in Ontario because I live in Ontario at the moment, but some of my paperwork is still in Quebec ? For instance my health insurance is in Quebec as I get exempted from the residency requirement as a federal government employee (and I do not yet qualify for Ontario health insurance since minimum residency is 6 months), plus my driver's license, I have maintained it , and have not exchanged it for an Ontario driver's license. Will that be a problem?? I fail to see why it would be... but they might not like someone who is in limbo situation paperwork-wise between two provinces?

A question for the Ottawa October applicants.

How did you receive the test invite? Via email or via letter in the mail?

Ottawa all communications through postal regular mails no emails.

The Feb 28th ceremony is going to be held at the Museum of Science and Tech - this to me means that they're expecting a substantial number of oath takers that day.

good luck! can you please share your timeline?

Hey there, I had my test on 14th, and got my Decision Made status on ECAS/15th in Ottawa. Waiting for the Oath date now.

Good luck to all.

Passed the test Last Friday (Feb 16). The officer told me that he is ready to approve my application. Still no change in the online status.

Very interesting: I got an email today from CIC saying now that I haven't written the test on requested date I need to explain them why I didn't write the test.
Actually I did pass the test and had an interview with the officer after the test where he declared that I passed the test and he is going to approve my application!! Online status hasn't changed yet!!

I emailed them back and explained the whole thing! Let's see what happens!!
