Had OATH ceremony this yesterday and officially a Canadian citizen now!!!!

Yeah everyone has to pass security check. Maybe he's confused with criminality which is different from security check. Usually criminality is passed quickly after a name/DoB check if no finger print is needed, but security check takes a lot longer.

Yes. I was just thinking about criminality check. But why would the officer say that he has approved our file if they still needs our security check??

I got AOR on Dec 3rd, IP on Jan 18, and I have the test/interview scheduled for tomorrow downtown Ottawa.

Will come back later with an update.

It is nice to see in the spreadsheet that a majority of the Ottawa based applicants got the DM within a day after the test, and the oath date within a month after the test.
