Shoot, picked up my CoPR at my lawyers office today and it lists an incorrect country as to which country issued my passport. Everything else, name, dob, citizenship, passport number, etc. is correct though. According to my lawyer I will still be able to land this weekend and only need to make the border immigration officer aware of that mistake.
Lets hope he's right and I won't run into any trouble because of it. :o

Me and My wife are the applicants.

My son is a Canadian citizen by birth and we have provided his details when we applied for Permanent Residence. I understand that as he already a citizen, he won't require a VISA to enter Canada along with us. Now the question is, still do we need to send a photo copy of his canadian passport along with our passports to Detroit where they issue the VISA for me and my wife ?

Thanks in advance for any of your suggestion.

Just landed in Coutts. Took about 15-20 min. Very easy process, nice officer, little cheeky in the beginning but overall very nice and helpful.

Good luck to all those who are still waiting and thanks to everyone on this forum. :)

Congratulations !!!!!!!!!!!! Cheery

Hi guys,

I wonder if any one of you did not send the security check with the application in the beginning. Especially those who were working Saudi Arabia since they don't offer a security check unless you have an official request.

I wanna know, when the CIC officer gonna request that. Is it before or after the medical / AOR ?

Thanks,
-KAMMAR

Dear Madam / Sir,

This is in response to your email (see below).

Your application is in process in Ottawa. No further action is required by you at this time.

We thank you for your patience and for keeping your correspondence to a minimum.

The standard processing time for your immigration category is 16 months.

For future reference, in all correspondence to our office, please refer to the applicant's full name, date of birth and file number.

Regards,

Congratulations!

For getting the visa stamped in person, we do not need a separate email confirmation from Detroit, do we? Just the PPR email should suffice?
