I callled my DMP last week (2 weeks after the test) and they told me they will sent out the results last week and i called them today to check whether it has reached or not n came to know that they havent sent it..This is so frustrating to know that the results came after a week n they havent send it yet :(
I just hope it wont take too long to get PPR once CIC recevies the Medicals.
Please follow up with your DMP to check when they send your results.

WHo is your doctor?

Please let us know so we don't get the same problem !

It Doctor LI in Toronto...The only thing i am upset about is that we i called fater 2 weeks which is usually the time taken by DMP to send the medical results they told me they will send it next day but didnt send it for a week...I am just hoping that the PR process gets over soon..Best of Luck guys

To qoute my lawyer, my most happy day has arrived! I received my passport request today. I'll keep you updated on what's happening next, if I'll send everything to Detroit or if I'll flagpole it in Coutts.

I'm so happy, jumping up and down and can't wait to not be on an employer bound low skill work permit to bridge the time until I get PR anymore. Whoooohoooooo and yeehaw :)

Chin up guys and gals you're probably next ;D

Woo Hoo!! :) Many Congratulations to you Cheery... Enjoy the Moment
Cheers!!!!

Vishu

According to wot I understood it may take up to 90 days to get updated to "medical received" but let c wot other ppl say

As far as my observation on this forum it takes a month to update the Medical received after the medical results are sent by DMP and another 1.5-2 from there to get PPR..But cant predict anything Hoping for the Best ..

OK, I can't flagpole it just yet :-[
Gotta send a photocopy of my passport, 2 photos and RPRF to Detroit before I can flagpole it.
Then they'll issue another letter that will allow me to land, which apparently takes about a month. Really hope to get it quicker than that, but we'll see.

Anyway, my stuff will be on it's way by Monday and hopefully it won't take too long to get that next letter. At least I can start looking for a new job now that I know I will land probably within the next month or so.

ECAS still shows Medical Received and In Process and I ticked Pre-Assessed, coz my application was a) pre-assessed by my lawyer and b) I thought Sydney pre-assesses them before sending them to Ottawa, but maybe I got that wrong :)

Hi All,
My Ecase started showing Medical results have been received from 21st Sep 12. How long you think I need to Wait for PPR. I am going for vacation out of Canada for 2 months from Oct.

Can I pay RPRF right now? and how do I pay?

Thank you

Does anyone know if the last letter after PPR is a formal letter sent in the mail? or just another email?

Im asking because my PPR response reached Detroit 13th Sept .. and i have to travel to the states this weekend and i am hoping to receive it before then to avoid having to travel to the states say twice in a month.

Also im travelling via porter airlines .. does anyone know if it is even possible to complete the PR process at the porter airport? ive never flown porter so i dont know what the immigration is like at that airport.

I see a lot of people here are close to getting residency after 8-9 months. This is good news...

My Ecas is updated to medical received :) . I hope to receive the PPR soon..I am planning to go to Detroit to get my passport stamped with PR visa. Can i do landing while coming back from Detroit on border. Seniors please advice how does it work..

Thank you
