Just got a reply back from the Ottawa center(CPP-O), telling me that my case is in the queue in the CPP-O (got transferred from Buffalo). They mentioned they have sent me the AOR on April 19th via email but I didn't get it which is funny, but whatever I have my Application Number included in that email reply as well.
AOR status is not up in ECAS though, still showing App Received.

Application Received:Feb 20th, 2012
CC charged: Mar 20th, 2012
AOR: April 19th, 2012
Did you have any information that your file transfer to Ottawa before sending this email to ottawa ?

Nope, I did not know until the reply from CPP-O. Initially I emailed the Sydney office about what is the current status of my application then I was told to email the Ottawa office because Sydney does not hold my file any more that it was transferred to Ottawa.

Great news....
Today I had my medicals done and earlier this morning I got a reply from Ottawa stating that there was no need for me to re-submit the drivers license extract as the email was sent in error.
I'm kinda surprised that they missed a 4 page document in my application, but nevertheless, we're all good.

Now it's just the waiting game for a few more weeks...

wow...congrats....my application was received by CIO on 17-Feb-2012..got AOR on 20-Apr.. still waiting for medicals..

Which method are you using to apply for residency? The Canadian Experience Class has only been around for a few years, and even their website states 15 months is the average processing time (which I'm sure is over stated to lower expectations of applicants)
The CEC wasn't around in 2006.

self employed.
the worst kind ever. since all entrepreneurs applied as self emplyed 2 or 3 years back when they close the entrepreneur stream and clogged the system we got screwed.

Hello rhare,

in your letter for your medical did you find any of the below statements?

"It has been determined that you meet the eligibility requirements to apply for permanent resident status. “

or

"We have completed the initial assessment of your application and expect to finalize your application without a personal interview."

or

"This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada, Your interview has been waived."

or

"This refers to your application for permanent residence within Canada on humanitarian and compassionate grounds."

Your response is much appreciate.d

Any News anyone 8)

Hi guys,

My medical results have been received by Ottawa office yesterday.

I know, this may sound dumb. But, just want to check. Based on the trend, does anyone know how long it might take to receive Passport request after completing medicals.

Thank you. :)

Hi Torap,

You are lucky that your medical rece. by Ottawa too early. My DMP said call back on June 12, 2012 to check whether they have send the medical or not to Ottawa. I did my Medical on May 12, 2012.

:o Why would it take so long for the DMP to send out the results!! ::) I have inquired beforehand on when they would send my results...
The DMP said they would post it with in 10 days and they did post it on 9th day.. I have called them up to get the tracking number of the Canadapost..
