+1(514) 937-9445 or Toll-free (Canada & US) +1 (888) 947-9445
hyphen doesnt matter... they take both formats

also you may have to try to fill in your FULL name instead in the 'Surname/Family Name:' box because sometimes they put your Full name it depends on the name format in your passport. Well at least in my case I have to fill in full name.

Right now my status is only 'Application Received' on Feb 20th, 2012.

I tried Both, but nothing shows up. Thanks for replying. Seems i need to wait

Hi Guys, I just completed my medical exam today here in Toronto with Dr. Vicente Pinilla.. The doctor was very friendly and he completed all of his check-up in 10 mins.. Only thing i didn't like is the rudeness of the employees in the X-ray Lab..

They told they would send out the results to Ottawa in 8 to 10 days.. :) Now, the waiting starts for the Passport request ;)

did Ohip cover anything? if not how much did he charge per person?
I just read the posts, $250. so a thousand for a family of 4, that is too much
no ohip?

Everyone is receiving their medical requests, however I'm yet to get mine.
Damn it.
I hate this waiting game... I feel left out :(

try waiting for 6 years and then finding out they did nothing on your file. after 6 years the stress harming your body will cause you to fail the medical probably.

Nope, no OHIP. Think about it, you're going to be asking the Canadian Taxpayers to foot your medical bill for possible immigration.

I woke up to an email addressed from Ottawa, was sooooo excited... However it's a request for me to submit my drivers license extract. Victoria, Australia.. we need to submit an extract showing every traffic offense since age 18.
Thing is, I DID.
I was so meticulous when filling out the paper work, I even TIMED it so well that my Australian Police check and Driver's license extract got delivered to me at the same time.

I've replied asking for clarification. Has anyone replied to that email, and if so, how long does it take to get a response?

Cheers,
R

Lately they haven't been that bad. The last two times I emailed Ottawa, I got a response next day, and another time, in 2/3 hours. In November though, they took about a week.

Further to this... I've just received an email with my medical requests. YAY! But WTF. Drivers License extract AND medicals?!
I think I might just call them..

well at least they qare workign on it not sleeping on it like my Damascus application from 2006
do you have anything to worry about on your records? if not then why the worry?

Not worried and nothing on my records. Just timing. My current WHP visa expires in August and I'm currently sending off paper work to have it renewed (just in case). If I can save a few dollars I will.
With that said, it still doesn't explain why they are requesting something I've already sent them.

In my dream world, I'm hoping it was in error, that they read my first email, corrected it and asked for medicals.
Having to supply drivers extract just puts everything on hold as it'll take 3-4 weeks before they receive it....again.

it has been a money pit for me, but I decided next year if they don't process my application I am leaving Canada and never coming back.

Just got a reply back from the Ottawa center(CPP-O), telling me that my case is in the queue in the CPP-O (got transferred from Buffalo). They mentioned they have sent me the AOR on April 19th via email but I didn't get it which is funny, but whatever I have my Application Number included in that email reply as well.
AOR status is not up in ECAS though, still showing App Received.

Application Received:Feb 20th, 2012
CC charged: Mar 20th, 2012
AOR: April 19th, 2012
