My status says the same as yours now. They started to process my application Yahoooooo!!!!!!!!!! Good luck guys

For applicants from Ottawa: Medical cost is around $250 CASH ONLY. Be ready
Also, when booking your appointment make sure the person you are talking to knows what he/she suppose to do and what all this immigration medical stuff is about. I tried to book with one doctors office (they had opening earlier) but the receptionist had no clue about what is going on and what program I am applying under. I didn't go with them obviously. Booked for a day later, but with another doctor who was very knowledgeable about the process.

I'm in Ottawa as well and got my AOR and MR on the 4th of April. I saw Margaret Buczek, and to be honest I wasn't very impressed with her. She was ok, but I didn't feel comfortable with her at all. I ended going o another DMP and just paid the fees over again. Hope your experience goes a little better

oh! Thank you for your advise! Sorry to hear that(( I had my medicals done with her 2 years ago. I didn't get through immigration that time, but my medicals were done super fast and CIC received my results within a week. I can't complain at all. I hope this time it will be the same way. I will let you know after I will get it done this Wednesday. Hope for the best))))))

I need your suggestion for this.

My consultant send my application last feb.01 2012 to sydney nova scotia and I haven't heard anything after that. last week I was accidentally sent a message to sydney Nova Scotia that was supposed to my consultant. cause up to now I don't know whats going on, on my application. But then I got this message 2days ago from:

"CIO-Sydney-Search-Enquiry" : Our records indicate you file has been transffered to our office in ottowa. Please direct your inquiry/email to ottowa at the following email address.

What this mean? Did they start processing my paper? what do you think is the possible next step now?

I just read all the posts about everyone receiving their medical requests and got really excited.. then i checked my inbox and i just received my meds request email an hour ago!!

K here's my updated timeline:

Fee withdrawn from credit card: 21 Mar 2012
Acknowledgement of receipt received via email: 21 Apr 2012
Transferred to CPP-O: 26 Apr 2012
Meds request email received: 8 May 2012

I've been using: Application Number. It's in the top left hand corner of the Acknowledgment of Receipt you receive when they first email you.

Hello everyone! My report about Medicals yesterday.
I did it with Margaret Buczek. I have to say it was just perfect. Very fast and professional. No waiting time. Everything was in the same building. X-ray and blood work. I was done in no time, really.
Aba_Bab, sorry you didn't feel comfortable with hew. It was fine with me. Can't complain at all.... Let's hope that my results will not get lost))

HI. I visited Parminder K. Sandhu at Sunridge Professional Centre. They are the only one that got everything you need to do in the same building. All the others, I think you need to either do your blood or Xray at somewhere else.

And, depends on where you live in the city, sometimes it's easier that way.

I applied for CEC and my application was received on Feb 28. I applied from Outside Canada. When i called CIC, they told me my application was transferred to CPP Ottawa Office on Marach 22nd.

I see here on this forum that Others have started receiving even medical requests. Can some one please suggest when can i expect the AOR / Medical requests. Does applying from Outside Canada takes the more processing time. I sent my application to NS office.

Hi, I did checked but no results. Also, do i need to put client id like XXXX-XXXX or XXXXXXXX i.e. With out hyphen? Thanks for replying
