I contacted Call centre today and they said all the documents recieved by March 23rd is in process of opening package and sent out for processing. They told me CIO will intake files and it will be processed all outside of Canada, so they wouldn't know how far it has been processed. I will be moving back home since my WP is expiring end of this month. I hope at least I will get my file number before I leave.

I checked on-line and it doesn't even show my application has been recieved or not.

My application reacehed Sydney office on 13th January, 2012. And my application started showing up online from 2nd April. Considering this, you should see your application online by end of April and hope you receive your AOR in 2 to 3 weeks after that. Good luck!!

Today I received "Acknowledgement of Receipt" and it was mentioned that my application was transferred to Ottawa Case Processing Pilot.

Below are my timelines:

App received @Sydney: 6-Feb-2012
Credit Card charged on: 14-Mar-2012
Acknowledgement of Receipt: 12-Apr-2012 [transferred to Ottawa]

I have sent my application on Dec 19th & The Buffalo office recived it on Dec23
They cashed the Money Draft on Feb 9th

and so far i heard nothing from them, i keep checking online, my email, my junk email, and nothing, should i be worried?

I noticed that most of you submitted thier applicaion during Jan and you've already recived your Confirmation email.

I have also included my husband in the application, he graduated from Canada with no work experiance, i am the primary applicant.

Any comments would be appreciated

Don't worry! It is normal. It's just taking more time for them to review your application! The fact that they cashed your draft is a good thing! It means that all the documents are in place, otherwise they would return it to you. Keep waiting and good luck!

thanks Katyah.... Question .. How come some applicants receive their medical with the confirmation email and other don't?
