And, I am planning to drive to Detroit next Thursday and finish off the formalities... ;D

Thank you Katya.. Yes, by the almighty's grace, ours apps were proccessed very fast.. Am happy that I no more need to run around the CIC website and the forums for the updates..

Aren't you coming to Dertroit ? This waiting in enough, i don't want to post my passport and keep checking my tracking.. : Its another pain..

CONGRATULATIONS. Well done. You have me really excited now as I've been behind you guys by around 10 days this whole time. Hopefully I get PPR shortly too.

Question about PPR... What happens now? Do you need to cross the border if you don't mail it in? I'm thinking I would need to mail (when/if I get PPR) because I'm not driving from Vancouver to Buffalo, USA.
Just curious what happens for you guys moving forward?

Answering Rhare's question, now that I have received passport request from CPP to submit my passport to Detroit, I can mail my passport to Detroit or else I can drive down there to Detroit to complete the stamping for which we need a US Visa...

I don't want to send passport by post and take up the tension until I get back my passport.. As I live in Toronto and I hold a US visa, I will drive to Detroit to complete the Visa stamping and on the way back, I would finish my landing at border...

They haven't told the processing time when they sent me my AOR.

These days, the average processing time seems to be around 6 months.
