Bad news for all students studied on a Scholarships or financial grants that they will not receive points.Pawshi said:YES Fatani...you caught it....
No, not all. These points aren't applicable to international students only if they have to return back to their country cos their country sponsored them.fatani said:Bad news for all students studied on a Scholarships or financial grants that they will not receive points.
How much you used to be in the old system?DelPiero07 said:I'm at 509, is that good enough? ???
Nope, only IF they have to return to their country to apply knowledge and skills gained.fatani said:Bad news for all students studied on a Scholarships or financial grants that they will not receive points.
I think lots of intl students asking for 100s of bonus points should learn from you that without bonus you have 468. So if they had done the hardwork rather than whining for bonus points they should have gone in the range where applicants receive ITA like you.ssiddharthsuresh said:468 without bonus, Canadian Masters, 1 year cumulative CWE. Hoping to get an ITA
Thanks for correcting me.DelPiero07 said:Nope, only IF they have to return to their country to apply knowledge and skills gained.
This still goes back to the idea that they may want it but they don't necessarily deserve such a big jump.fatani said:Look Kryt0n lots of intl student are like him thats why they wanted 100-200 points
Just with the extra 30 points. Taking the TEF next week so it will raise morealexliu said:How much you used to be in the old system?
How did you get bumped to this new one?
This backs up the idea that there are students who actually have high scores because they have actually managed to work hard and get top education. Just because a student dis an average level degree in Canada and worked in an office for a year should not just instantly give them PR! This new system gives those people a boost. They still need to out effort in!moelaghil said:458 before and with my humble understanding of the new ministerial instructions I expect to have 488 points
