Someone here suggested Peace Bridge (Buffalo) but I have no idea yet. Couldn't we just do it at Toronto Pearson Airport?

Hi everyone,

I just got the PPR letter today. They only asked me for Passport and 2 pictures. I am planning to send it tomorrow morning. Does anyone know how long they take to send back the passport?

FYI:I am in Toronto

Thanks!

Are you inland? if you are you cannot do at Pearson unless you leave the country...

The same for me, but I haven't received any email. I hope papers will come soon.

Based on Conor's case, I was hoping it would get sent today but still nothing. Hopefully it's tomorrow... I'm guessing we'll receive it by Monday.

Thank you! Do you know if we need a current work permit to flagpole? My implied status has expired and I haven't applied for restoration..

yes you do

If you are not able to make an appointment as set out above, you may leave Canada and return through an international airport or a Canadian land border.

When you arrive, a CIC officer will interview you, and grant you entry into Canada based on the information in your visa.

In either case, you will have to show the officer:

your passport, travel or identity document (including your visa sticker, if you have one), and
your Confirmation of Permanent Residence, permanent resident visa, letter of introduction or any instructions from the Canadian visa office, and
your proof of legal status in Canada, such as a valid work permit, study permit, temporary resident permit, or visitor document, or any immigration document you have (whether valid or not), or
proof of implied status (if you applied to extend your stay before it ended). Proof of this status may include:
payment receipt,
copy of your application to extend your stay,
printout of online application, or
proof of mailing.

Just received the COPR.

Mine and my wife's are OK.
For my kids, they switched the pictures. The picture of the oldest is on the COPR of the youngest and vice versa.
So I suppose I will have to inform CPC about this, or do you think an officer at landing would be ok with it?

So you think it should be that fast? I called CIC today and unhelpful lady told me only that they have 6 months.
