ALL INLAND APPLICANTS WHO RECEIVED PPR CONNECT HERE

My PR application got approved on August 6, 2015. While waiting for PPR, I'm wondering something...

I'm not in Canada right now [vacation in France till September 24].
I know I will have 30 days to send passport copies [visa-exempt applicants] and photos. Basically, won't be back in Canada before the 30-day deadline.

Both our mailing addresses are in Canada. Should I ask for a change of visa office [from Ottawa to Paris, France] ? Or should I leave Ottawa process and send both mine + my spouse's CoPR to my mailing address in Canada, and then have friends forward the CoPR back to France ?

Asking this because, we both are from visa-exempt country and was wondering if only CoPR and passports are required to enter Canada [or does the CoPR still requires some sort of activation within Canada or at a port of entry, don't know if it can or cannot be used as is, along with both our passports to re-enter Canada] ?

Also, Ottawa requires applicants within Canada to use Canada Post pre-paid enveloppes only [impossible from France, they don't sell these].

What's the best option ? What would you do ? Change of visa office [which will delay issuing both our CoPRs] or keeping Ottawa [faster, but requires finding a way to use Canada Post and having the CoPRs forwarded back to France] ?

Does CIC allow the use of DHL as an international courier rather than Canada Post ?

If ur just on vacation in Paris I don't think you can do a Vo change request.. But you should email ottawa just to double check..

I would put a hold order at the carrier so you can pick them up from the office

In the home page of mycic showing my PR, Express Entry and BOWP applications, the Details section of the PR application now say "Approved". However in the actual application, it still says Final Decision: Not Started. CIC received my passport last Friday. Has anyone else experienced this?

Yes, same happened on mine. Wait for another day or so and you will have the details updated

Hi KaydenB, sorry for the delay.
There was no direct link to the bio data form on my PPR. It was actually in the last page of the letter. It is a very simple form, you will be surprised how simple it is lol (I was expecting something like those forms we fill for Work/Study permit, etc..)

Just give me some time and I will upload my PPR and send you the link to it.

For those who have done the LANDING already. How long did it take to your ECAS change status?
Mine is still as Decision Made.

Application status has been updated to This application has been Approved today. Now awaiting my return tracker to be activated, CIC received my passport copy and photo's last Friday, 8th Aug

I think you're missing the point

You haven't even received PPR yet, so you don't know what data they are going to ask you for. You need to wait until CPC specifically ask you for details as it seems to vary from applicant to applicant

that's what I'd do anyway - in anycase good luck.
