FedEx? but CIC only send passport via Canada post prepaid xpress post envelop or else they send it via registered mail

Ya I'm in the U.S.

They do private couriers too for US but no registered mail

Don't worry.. If you look at most of us here our pp got processed pretty fast and mind you Monday was a holiday too..

Just got off from the phone with CIC call centre. An agent confirmed that your application is now closed CoPR and visa are issued today i.e. Aug 5, 2015. However, when I check the return Xpress post tracking number on Canada post website the tracker is not activated yet.

Did everyone who sent their passport/passport copy to CIC use Xpresspost? I generally prefer to use fedex but the PPR letter says to use Xpresspost

Xpresspost will be fine cos you have tracking number. Congrats!

My documents are so close yet so far away, looks like they might be delivered tomorrow! The wait is killing me!

ahh guys! My documents were sent to a Canada Post pickup location as when they attempted to deliver there was no one home :'(

I went to the pickup location yesterday after work, but they said it is only available for pickup today :-X
So this afternoon I am going there to pick it up ;D

Hopefully everything will be in order so tomorrow I can go to the border and do this landing asap.

Hi,

I received PPR at May 15. They received scans of my passport (an my common-law as well) at May 22 together with photos. Is it normal that since then there is no feedback? I called CIC and guy told me that they have my passport scans and the case is being processed. I'm under FSW.
