Nice to see the Indian thread specifically...there are lots of threads for Bangladeshi/Pakistanis/Punjabis etc. But never found specific that one you have created.

Dear Canada 2017 no need to worry its a minor mistake. And they will not return your application any more and also you not need to inform them. Be positive and expect your AOR.

By the way share your timeline.

Thanks Canada Immigration.

I sent my PR application on 31st December 2016 to CIC and I was able to link the application on 9th January 2017, so far there is no progress on my application and the current status is "Open". I have few queries which I am listing below for a quick advice.

1) The Generic Application form I had filled has changed sometime in December and I realized that after I have already sent the file to CIC.
2) I also didn't entered the names in native language as required on some federal forms.

I am now thinking of re-sending the above forms to CIC with a covering letter to replace the old forms with the new ones. The CIC is taking around 3-4 months either for AOR confirmation or sending the application back to the applicant due to issues with the forms. My intent is to avoid losing 3-4 months of time in case they find problems with my forms. I did read few comments on the similar issue and some of the members suggested to resend the form. What are you thoughts on this, please help.

Education : Diploma in hotel Management and catering technology (3 years)
Experience: 12 years as Cook/chef
Including abroad experience.
Martial status: Married
Kids: 2 ( under 5 years)
IELTS : Appeared twice scored ( 6 overall)
L:6,S: 6.5,W: 6, R : 5.5
Going to reappear in a week.

Doesn't have work permit or LMIA .
Hope the above given details will give a brief idea.As I mentioned earlier suggestions for any channels are welcome even student visa.
