quick question: does CIC really check and verify by contacting either HR, former employer,..etc for every single job reference letter you submit?! :
and if YES, then often would that be?! pls share if you care.

Yes they do check former employer

i get that but now the question is: how often do they tend to do this? do they verify all work reference letters for all applicants? what triggers the process? only "suspicion"?!

The answer is that it's up to them. I don't think there's a way to tell with any certainty how often they do it. If they feel the need to do so, then they will.
