Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Hey guys,
quick question: does CIC really check and verify by contacting either HR, former employer,..etc for every single job reference letter you submit?! ::)

and if YES, then often would that be?! pls share if you care.

As i understand, it depends on each case, if something it is not clear for them, sure.

thanks a lot for your kind reply, mate. i understand what you're saying but here's the thing: would that apply to checking/contacting former work employer or whatever for let's say a job you worked XYZ years ago?!

Yes, it is nothing so strange to them to contact your old employer.

Yes - sometimes they will contact past employers.

i get that but now the question is: how often do they tend to do this? do they verify all work reference letters for all applicants? what triggers the process? only "suspicion"?!

The answer is that it's up to them. I don't think there's a way to tell with any certainty how often they do it. If they feel the need to do so, then they will.
