i am in canada now and reached here in vancouver last night.don't worry about port of entry its so easy.they will ask you your name ,school name,course ,course time .don't forget to bring your LOA letter and final acceptance letter from university .those have to show immigration officer at the POE.

hey guys I did not get any study approval email before my passport was dispatched. So I am kind of worried that I may not have showed sufficient proof of funds. I got accepted to UOFT computer science and my expenses are:Tuition $34k + $15k living expenses + $3k air fare. In total $52k CAD for 1 year. I showed this money in several ways from several accounts of my parents who are my sponsors. FDR of $22k and savings of $33k of my dad's savings account. $40k of my mom's savings account. $260k in share account. About Tk 50 crore($375k) assets. Bank statement of past 6 months with a lot other transactions. Do you guys think this will be enough as proof of sufficient funds?

OH MY GOD!! I just got my visa application approved today morning at 6:16 am. Got an email from the CIC with a pdf attachment saying my study in Canada has been approved. Thanks a ton to Dipta, Rasel and the rest who have been helping me throughout the whole time. Truly this forum is amazing

According to VFS tracking my passport has been dispatched on 23rd. But soon after I received my visa on 22nd early morning I booked my air ticket. I had to confirm my air ticket by today which I did but the passport hasnt arrived. I couldn't wait till the passport arrives because it would have been too late and my booking would have got cancelled. My ticket is on 31st August. Will my passport arrive by then? I am really stressed.

Also what documents do I need to receive the passport? It will be in VFS Chittagong

I think you will get an email tonight from Vfs to collect your passport tomorrow. My passport got dispatched on the 22nd and I got it today. Im also quite sure if you don't get it tomorrow, you will definitely get it before 31st.

Tuber123, cheers for your encouraging words. I live in Chittagong and went to VFS Chittagong today. They said my passport has arrived in Dhaka today (same time as yours) so hopefully it should arrive tomorrow. Is there a visa counter foil on your passport?
