@ dipta: what you said made sense as it is not in the checklist. Also I am providing a full copy of 2 passport (current and previous). Having said that in this page (http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/singapore-singapour/visas/forms_study-formulaires_etude.aspx) under the additional information link they said the principal applicant has to complete this. What's your say in this?

General question: Ok so I am submitting complete copies of two passport. One is current (2010-2015) and the other is previous (2006-2011). Since 2006 I have travelled in India,Nepal, Germany and lived in UK. Details of those are included in these two passports. However before 2006 I had another passport and only travelled to India.Do I need to include copy of that very old passport (2001-2006) as well? Then I will have copies of 3 passports, sounds a bit too much to me!!

I have seen that earlier and it is your wish if you want to add it. you need to print it and fill it by hand as there is no other option. My opinion as it is not on the checklist it is not needed.

Travel history is needed up-to 5 years . Previous history than that doesn't matters.

Another query, I have seen in many posts that some of us were saying very specific information about their application status such as "Application package reached at Singapore date:xx/yy" or similar kind of things. In my case I am not getting such kind of specific information (Well, not sure). That means it is under process and they have got your file.

Yes you are using the right link. This is not a problem I think you got the direct message that your file is being processed.

As its a new system, so I am not sure about this. But if I was in ur position then I wouldn't like to take chances and obviously provide them that information. Because they mentioned "This form must be completed by the Principal Applicant". Beside ur past travel history will consider as strength of ur application where its much convenient way rather searching in ur passport's seals & stamps.

About html format of this form, u can print it out or make a doc file formatting those statements and print it out.

I have also 3 passports. 1 is written & 2 MRPs, but I only showed them 2 MRPs where 1 of them r damaged. So, I think ur recent 2 passport will be okay.

Hi,

I am writing this on behalf of my cousin.
She got admission in Fall 2013. She wants to apply for Canada VISA now. Her prof told that he will try to manage fund from this Sep 2013, not sure yet. He will confirm by August.However he has confirmed that he can surely provide her fund from Fall 2014.

If she take the VISA now and incase later deffer her admission to next fall 2014, will there be any problem in Canada immigration to take her study permit? If she get 1 yr and few months VISA, can she come to Canada with same VISA in Fall 2014 or she needs to try for VISA again?

As far as I know it is asking for valid passport number or valid passport from other country if you have one.
For the other question you need to give both student and worker.

Yes on the time of immigration if you are unable to show valid reason why you have come so late you will be deported.

She will need extension because one year would have passed if she gets visa now.
