Hi guys,

Newly joined this forum & found it quite helpful. I am planning for EE & as per my calculation my CRS stands at 414........is there any possibility for this score? Though the cut off score is around 450 according to October 02 draw but am bit confused & in depression. Please give your valuable absolute opinion.

I think you need to wait another 6 months.

Thanks Milton Vai for your opinion. 6 month is not a long time at all. Am afraid that is there any floor/lowest score that CIC maintain or to be maintained? Can you suggest anything?

Thanks.

As I know the people who have scored greater than 400 can apply Ontario PNP. I do not know the procedure.

Provided that you get your degree assessed (ECA) you should receive points for the equivalency of a Master's degree and I believe it will be 135 points under EE

Thanks dewan vai......

19th draw published with 1502 ITAs but the cut off CRS is 489.........loosing hope.........is there any possibility for 414???

Be prepare for upcoming January PNP opportunities. Many like sask, nova, pei will open for PNP. This will make sure to get ITA and faster entry to Canada.

Hello All,

Although i am late in this thread but thanks to the OP for bringing all the bangladeshis together.

I am a recent graduate with Masters in EE from Canadian University. Next May 2016 i will be having 1 year of Canadian working experience. I have calculated my points and looks like even with 1 year work experience my points will be 436. I dont know i will be getting PNP nomination or not. Even if i get then I have to stick with my employer for some time then.

Is there any other way to boost the point? Suggestions are welcome.

regards

Its unlikely that the score is gonna fall below the invisible barrier of 450 anytime soon. Rather, try to increase your score.

Ways to boost the score are quite limited, Better IELTS, More experience or Learning French are the obvious ones that comes to mind. Neither of these are easy to get. So your best bet may actually be PNP. Which province are you in?

With OP you can wait another year to increase your work experience to 2 years. With 2 years of work experience you will get the ITA without any doubt. I would suggest you to wait another year.

If you have OP then you should be able to change employer, if you wish to.

ECA report suggest that you will get Canadian equivalent of a Bachelor Degree as 1 year MBA normally does not count as a full time study here. Only 2 years non-professional degree will be equivalent to Canadian MS.

hi Bitto,
i don't think it can be said definitely. my spouse has a BBA & MBA from NSU and got ECA summary as 4 years bachelors. on the other hand, i have similar time frame but both BBA & MBA from DU and i got ECA summary as Masters.

WES probably has different parameters based on time frame, institute, grades, etc. you'll just have to apply and wait to get your report.
