I don't think so. Once you get the Ref. No. then WES or whoever you're sending it to, will be expecting your documents to arrive but there isn't a set deadline. Obviously you wouldn't wanna wait long after you get the ref. No. to send your documents.

Not necessarily. But if you have relevant work experience in a particular NOC 0, A or B level positions, it is assumed that your education will be somehow related to it.

and yesterday I got a mail that "Your application has been updated. Please sign in to your account and check your application status and messages for more information."
But actually I believe, my status is same as it was before. What should I do, any suggestion?

I have some query regarding education level. I have done my ECA from WES but i am confused with the result. I have BBA and MBA degree from a private university in Bangladesh. But in the assessment WES only give me a Bachelor's Degree (4 years).

Canadian Equivalency:
Bachelor's degree (four years)

Breakdown is as follows:
BBA (4 years)- Bangladesh
Canadian Equivalency: Bachelor's Degree (3 years)

MBA (2 years)- Bangladesh
Canadian Equivalency: Bachelor's Degree* (4 years)
*The equivalency for this credential is stated in conjunction with
study previously completed.


My question is which option should i choose?
1. Bachelor's degree OR a three or more year program at a university, college, trade or technical school, or other institute.

2. Two or more certificates, diplomas, or degrees. One must be for a program of three or more years.


I am currently working as a financial analyst in a Credit Rating Company and my work description mostly matches with NOC 1112 Financial and investment analysts. Can anyone confirm it.


Anyone using any lawyer or consultancy firm. Please let me know.

Does anyone gets passport request from CIC for their express entry application submission? I am little bit tense regarding my passport expire data which is April 09,2016 . I had submitted my application on 27 March,2014.

What are the maximum months of validity required when someone sends his passport to visa office?

Does visa office provide visa stamp on passport or electronic visa like Australia?

Do I need to collect new passport book now or one year validity is fine and later on i will provide new passport details to cic where old passport number will be printed.

In Bangladesh passport office does not renew old passport instead they provide new machine readable passport with old passport reference.

Please advice.

I don't think anyone has received passport request for EE yet. Even the people who got ITA on Jan 31 would probably have to wait till may before they are asked to submit their passport. Since you submitted your application last year and it had 2 more years of validity I do not think it will be an issue for you. However the old hand written BD passports are not valid anymore to travel with. So you should get you your MRP and when you get a passport request letter send both your old handwriten PP and the new MRP along with a letter explaining your situation. That should satisfy CIC. My Bangladeshi brothers, I am having a weird problem regarding my eligibility under FSW. I wrote CELPIP on March 15, and my score is Listening 11, Reading 12, Writing 9, and Speaking 9. According to CIC website, this score is CLB 9. I have a two years Master's degree from Canada. When I was checking my eligibility, the come to Canada tool said I am not eligible. However, in my calculation, I have over 67 points. Let me break it down for you.

First Language Ability 24 points (CLB 9)
Second Language ability 0 points
One year skilled work experience 9 points
Age 12 points (27 years old)
Education 23 points (Masters degree)
Adaptability 5 points (Two years study in Canada)

Total 73 points.

Now, I just tried replacing CELPIP score with similar IELTS score (CLB 9). When I replaced CELPIP score by IELTS score, it says you are eligible. I don't really understand what to do now. I should have 450 points according to the express entry system. I did not think the points will go down to this level this soon. I want to fill my application up ASAP.

I would like to have your kind advice.
