Hi guys,

Nice to see you all here. I have few question about EE.

1. I have applied for FSW 14. Am i able to apply for EE aswell. Does it make any effect on FSW 14 application?
2. I want to apply for EE and province nominee aswell. Is it possible to make the EE profile now and update the province nominee information later if I get the acceptance?
3. I am bit confused about the point system. Is there any way I can get the proper guidelines.

Thanks buddies.

You can apply in EE even if you applied for FSW 2014. Later if you get PER from fsw and also ITA from express entry, then continue anyone, not both.

For province nomination, please visit the provincial websites.

To create express entry profile, you need IELTS score and Academic Evaluation (ECAS). To understand express entry scores, please follow this link

Answers to your queries:
1. No you don't need to.
2. When you're selecting All provinces and territories that already includes Nunavut so why would you want to select a redundant choice?
3. It will not count without ECA. The maximum points that you can gain from your spouse's education is only 10 points so its not a big loss.

So without ECA we cant count any point for spouse education, am i right? Please confirm again. Thanks

Yes it is confirmed that without ECAS ( WES for example) you can not claim point for spouse education

Count me in! My EE score is 444.

Thanks desertfox for your contribution in the post. +1

Dear All, Assalamualikum,
Nice to see fellow countryman discussing and sharing various topics with each others about Express Entry system .

Me and my spouse Education certificate need to make ECA by WES. my spouse completed her Masters under National University, and mine Under BD Technical Education. Currently i am living abroad.. can you please tell me, what we have to do first.. do i have to go to BD to visit Education board Examination Controller to apply for ECA processing ? will they provide these documents easily...are there any fees or charge?
How long it will take for them to provide all necessary document as per WES Requirement ?

Please suggest me..i will be really grateful for all your advice ..

Walaikum Assalam . As for your question, I'm not totally sure what process you'll have to go through to get properly authorized papers from BD Technical Eeducation Board. But generally speaking this is what you do :

Get a mark sheet / transcript and degree certificate that is either original or properly signed and certified as an authentic copy of the original by the proper authority such as the exam controller/registrar/vice principal. Then you request them to
put those copies of

1. the certificate and transcript and
2. Wes Academic records request form (completed by the authority)

In a sealed envelope bearing the logo/monogram of the university/college and signed on top of the seal and then that'll send it to Wes via mail/courier. (Most times they won't send it on their own so you get the sealed envelope and send to Wes while filling the "from" section of the envelope with your university's address)

I can understand that it may be difficult for you to obtain them if you're not physically there. But you could try sending documents authorizing someone to do this on your behalf so that they could get issued with those documents from your educational institution. Its not gonna be easy and you may have to " tader ke khushi Kore dite hobe" if you know what I mean time ;D

Hope that helps. And best of luck!

The thread is cold.

Should I assume that there are not many express entry candidates from Bangladesh?

I guess so .....

I guess there are countless applicants from Bangladesh, who wish to apply for immigration, but as you know average applicants from Bangladesh not well networked. lack of of self-confidant most of them are always trying to proceed through agent or immigration consult in BD. because they not digging for the knowledge of immigration processing system. and average people are believe their application will be perfectly process by consult. But they doesn't know through EE System it's makes more easier that anyone can apply if they know basic information.
and there are few factors that many applicants maybe not prepared their documents..
I believe people who apply in the month of january 15, they are very lucky ! average people will get ITA as there might not much applicants. when you will compare with upcoming months it will be much different the figures. because many people are in process of preparing documents, so it's evident that many applicant not yet create EE Profile.
month by month the quantity of applicants will significantly increase compare to previous month.

Hi, thanks for creating this thread!
Hope it will be very helpful for all of us to share our experiences here.

I have already submitted my express entry profile. My score is 409 only. My age is the killer here!
I am not in Canada, nor I have any job offer from Canada.
Does anyone have any idea what are my chances to get to be selected?
