All Bangladeshi Citizenship Applicants

An Issue which I faced lets share :-
When I came here in Canada the rules was in 5 years you have to stay 3 years in total but my badluck before 3 years previous gov changed that rules to 4 years out of 6 . One thing to remember our PR card validity is only 5 years . So when I found I stayed 4 years and now I can apply then I had about an year left .but theprocessing took near to an year and I completed exam and got my oath request just 2 days before expire my pr .
I was scared searching web and thinking what to do ? What happen my Job ? What happen my others affiliation ? Already one of my part time extra stuff was stopped because of legal or valid doc . Then I called Service Canada . They ensured me that all good . No worries expired pr is still ok there in the oath . Only Its can be little trouble to travel but still she said its posible . I cant just stop to sharing to you all . Its really a valuable issue which we might feel uncomfortable to ask or share . I hope it gives you a smooth help while processing . Thanks

hmmm.. i have couple of friends who appeared for test between mid oct-mid dec and they have already gone through the oath ceremony from the same location..

One of my friend who had taken the test on same day (January 3rd 2018) and got DM on same day (January 5th 2018) with me- got his oath invitation for 30th January 2018. Same Scarborough Office.

And I see people are waiting beyond 4 months also after DM. So, it’s really looks like a random process.

They are tracking each of the application. Only 45% had their oath done.

Yes I was in Work permit.

My work permit date status obtain/effective is November 27 2013 and My work permit expired was 26 November 2015.

But I got PR on November 21 2015.

So now my question is I know date status obtain/effective is November 27 2013 BUT Date your status expired what date should i write.

My understanding is I should write Date your status expired November 20 2015 Because I become PR on 21 November.

Please correct me if my thinking is incorrect

Your work permit expire on the same day you have become PR as on November 20, 2015 your work permit was still valid. So use November 21, 2015 as the expiry date.
