One of my colleagues claimed 5 points as he has 1st blood relative in Canada. He has got a phone call from SGVO recently. The person from SGVO asked him (the applicant) to provide some written assurance collected from his (the applicant's) relative that s/he (the relative) will assist him (the applicant) in Canada. I am not sure what sort of assistance the VO meant? Please note that he is a pre-June 2010 applicant.
Hasib bhai or anyone – any thoughts?
I got your point. SGVO actually wants to be sure that his relative currently reside in CANADA, which ensures that his relative can assist him
