Dear jnathan,

FYI

http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/full-documents-sent-in-august-or-september-2010-fsw-t49070.0.html;msg714794#msg714794

CHC London becomes slow after inclusion of Pakis from April 2010. They are the slowest at this moment. Here, we are concern about Singapore Office. Waiting time 8-10 months or more after In Process status is not for majority of the applicants. Since, you might have claim additional bonus points from relative or other factor and become victim because these things prolong the processing time if they ask additional docs for relatives. From late November 2010, Singapore VO become torpid and you are in stuck at what you were in the last seven months. Majority of this forum members from Singapore office who got IN Process during September/October 2010 and who were not asked additional papers got MR and some of them already got visa stumped. If you forgot then you can read this thread from start to end.

Lot of thanks to all share yours valuable information.

relay, it is helpful for Bangladeshi people.

Again thanks to all

Dear Brother

This is not necessary to apply from south east. I just advised u to assess ur CV to discuss with south east or any conculting firm & then u decide u will apply or not. Y Dr hasib is right any consultant will ask for 3500 ust from u a consulting fees. And south east ask for 4000 usd. but the positive matter is that they dont take a singla taka before visa. So After visa they will ask for the consulting fees.

Hi all,
I heard from an agent that Singapore have a backlog of more than 7 times their quota for 2011 of 7500 visas, so the processing is significantly delayed

Dear All,
It's ok but we don't know the actual statistics of SG backlog. It’s just imagination of consultant but every CHC have old (before 2008) applicants backlog. I applied September 2006; updated documents submitted 1st January 2010 & then not yet received any messages from SG VO. So everything is rumor.

Tks

Almost 80% cases of pre June 2010 (Since feb 2008 to till may 2010) gets their in process status by 8 months, med request within 2-4 months frm in process, PPR 2-4 months, Visa 1-4 months..... this based upon statistics. Pls correct me if i am wrong.

SG VO starts moving frm last February according to one of my friend's friend who is an employee of cic. my friend is waiting for her in process status since she got her 2nd AOR (same as my time line) and she has been informed that she will get it by this month and probably by this tuesday. I am not sure how authentic but she took help frm that officer all along. what u guys thnk?

I have heard from my agent that, CIC will start issue MR from july,11. Though there is no basis of this informatin but hopping that will happen.

How come not a single post in the last 12 or so hours?
Everyone's at the trafiic jam?

Dont get upset folks ! delay does not mean a problem with your file. its the quota ! Everyone is waiting for June or July to over when files would probably move.

Dear jnathan,
Sometimes, it seems time passes so fast. But, now it seems times are not passing, days are not moving. Hum, how to keep patience for the time being??

Dear S_Haque

I have a gut feelings that your prediction is right because along with my file some other files are moving according to your timeline. I am hoping to get MR within next 2 month cause my status changed to "In Process" on Feb 2011. Lets see what happens.

Best wishes for all who are waiting for MR.
