Thank you very much. This information is very helpful. I just want to know that if High Commission of Bangladesh has different offices in different Provinces??? or it has only office in Ottawa ???

Alhumdulillah. Finally we received our Passport with VISA from VFS. Planning to Land on MAY-2017

congrats.....how did u know first time about ur visa stamping?? email or through tracking........already 3 weeks have gone for me after sending my passport. but tracking is showing its under process. how long ur passport has taken to stamping??

Vfs tracking dont mention whether the passport stamped ir not with visa. Infact CIC also. I went to VFS to recieve my passport n it was stamped

1. What is a settlement fund?

2. If you don't have any plan to go back to BD in 2/3 years, then bring as much money as possible. Even you can bring way more money then you showed when applied. Canada immigration doesn't really care about that for 1st time entry as immigrant. They just wanna know how much money you have with you. endorse max. amount of USD [$500, i guess] in passport, rest of the money bring as CAD.

3. If possible leave some money in BD to grow. Cuz here, saving is a bit difficult until you get a good job or both husband and wife works.

Situation is..... sent case specific enquiry 7 days back....still no answer.... last time in october right after 1 day i got the anwser.... may be autogenerated.... but even though they took care to answer me... i wonder...what might happen this time....any ideas????

If you get any reply within couple of days, that's an auto generated reply for sure. They don't care about any emails from the applicant. You will get email from them if and only if they require any further document/information form you. So please don't panic and live your regular life. If you are confident that you fulfill all their requirements and all documents and information are correct and legal you don't need to worry about anything at all. Waiting time is not same for every case.

I totally agree with this opinion from Ekarus vai.. I think we all who will land on April can meet at March and discuss important things like taking money, landing, renting and that will help us to be prepared. Let's open a group for Bangladeshis landing on Canada on April.
By the way I am landing on 24th April with my wife and child..

For us we got within a week before a month.

I have submitted PP as on 15/01/2017 through VFS & passport received as 18/01/2017
Till today I didn't get any response. VFS tracking showing under process. Any body submitted PP on my same date.? Feel tensed

I submitted my baby's passport on 30.01.17, they received it on 01.02.17. Today on 07.02.17, the VFS tracking is changed from 'under process' to 'decision has been dispatched'.

When they return ur passport, ur VFS tracking will b changed. Then when Bangladesh visa office receives it, they will send u SMS & email to collect it. Now I m waiting for this SMS/email.

So don't worry. You will get ur passport back within one month of course.
