Vai Have you got your MR after PF reply...For my case it took 1 month after my PCC, RPRF submission.
yes after pf from TR got rprf, pcc, mr 2 weeks ago :D :D

Finally received my passport back with corp. Alhamdulillah.

I was planning for landing with a short time stay (around 15 days) but in that case, I will have to be back without the PR card. Experts, seniors can you pls suggest would that be risky to come without the PR card here? is there anyone who got their PR card via courier like this? how long it usually takes to get the card? what are the other options to get back to canada without the PR card? pls advice.

DEAR ALL,

I heard there are only 2 port of entries, (i.e must land first) for FSWP peoples - 1. Torronto (YZZ) and 2. Vancuver.

Now my question is, my relative resides in Ottawa. Can I land in Ottawa, instead of Torronto for first time landing?

Seniors who have landed/Experienced please reply, as I need to buy airtickets.

Hi! Who told you this sort of wrong information? To let you know, most of the airlines use airports (YYZ, YVR) of these two cities and Montreal (YUL) aswel. As a FSWP, you can land anywhere in Canada except Quebec province. Still you can land in Quebec but the fact is, Quebec immigration needs CSQ#, which FSW applicant does not have. However, For example, in Montreal they'll stamp on your passport but as a FSWP, your landing obligations would not complete till you register your landing records by your own at local immigration office other than Quebec province. Immigration officer might ask you why did you land there (common answer is, not all destinations have direct international flights). However, now your question, answer is, obviously you can land Ottawa,ON directly from any part of the world and can complete your landing formalities aswel. Hope this would help.

Hi! There is no risk to go back other than PR card as there is no immigration point to cross. However, the fact is, you can not re-enter Canada without a valid PR card or Permanent Resident Travel Document (PRTD). Right now it takes 30~40 days to get PR card after complete landing formalities. It is not wise to send PR card via courier because once it is lost then it takes more time to be re-issued. If someone known to you living in Canada & if s/he wants to visit your country then s/he can carry with her/him and give it to you, this one I guess safest way to get your card. Hope this might help you.

Thank you for reply vai. Do you know whether there is any complexity/ difficulty for getting the PRTD? I think I need to apply to SGVO through VFS to get a PRTD? Do they issue it without much hassle? Thanks in advance.
