Dear Shamrajjo, fahad04 & M_Bd bro,
thanks for your kind advice. I've decided to renew my passport on urgent basis.
I hope to get them within next 2 weeks.

Besides sending the new PP via VFS, I'd like to raise a CSE & inform Manila VO about the change.

Your old passport has enough time to get visa in it. On the other hand you need to finish your landing formalities before your medical expiration. Though your passport is going to expire on next year so better to get a renewal passport before you left Bangladesh to avoid renewal in CA.

Best of luck.

Hi Bro,

You don't need to raise CSE for your new passport submission.

We have also sent our all new passport without raised CSE.

It is normal to submit new passport but it should be old passport number continuation in new passport.

However if you don't have time to submit your new passport then you can submit old and get visa.

By the time you can apply for new passport for your future travel.

Your visa is only single visit to CA before expire your medical.
SO that for 6 months valid passport is sufficient for permanent Immigration visa issuance.

My suggestion would be not to hurry for your renewal passport rather you can send your passport to Manila visa office. Otherwise you will lose your timing to get visa as in December there are lot of holiday and you will not get visa on easy basis.

Best of luck.

I was also considering the same. Renewal would be a hassle for me.
But PPR letter states that "Passports should be valid for at least twelve (12) months."

This made me confused. I'm worried if VO returns my PP stating that I did not follow their instruction !

Dear Seniors who live in Toronto,

I need a personal favour.
We have planned to move Toronto on End of Jan'17 with whole family.
But I will come back to BD after couple of weeks later. My family will be there as Kids needs to start school there.

Is there anybody who can help me to find out (or give information about rental agencies) apartment in central Toronto? Any kind of information/ suggestion regarding starting life over there will be appreciated!

I would like to mention my requirements about apartment are:

* Two Bed Rooms with two Bathrooms ( At least one and half bathroom)
* Location beside subway ( My wife is extremely afraid of driving)
* Shopping centre/ Grocery shops are walking distance.
* Near at Elementary school.

Appreciate your help.

Regards
Shamrajjo

Renewal of passport is now hassle free. No need police clearance . I submitted last week in Uttara office, it took 15 minutes. The ordinary passport will be delivered in 2 weeks.

Yes that is general format for 12 months Visa validity reason Visa office asked for 12 months passport validity but fact is visa will be valid based on Medical expire.

You have done your medical on mid July so your visa valid will be in mid July but your passport will expire on Dec. So that you have enough time and Visa office will not ask you for the timing for their basic requirement.

So my suggestion would to submit your current passport and prepare your landing preparation before July.

best of luck.

Your case is quite long. What has CIC asked you to do between "Medical results have been received" in Dec 2015 and now?

Dear Senior Members

I have completed my Medical today. I have been asked to pay the RPRF fee by the VO which is 490*2= 980 CAD (Me and spouse). According to Bangladesh bank regulation no Credit card is allowed to do a transaction more than 300 USD (490 CAD is equivalent to 367 USD - if I do two transactions of 490 CAD).
In my RPRF email VO asked to pay online.

Note that I am an applicant of 2014 (Non Express Entry)

Any suggestion - how I can pay

thanks in advance
