Dear brother, as you are been asked to do medical, you are expected to get PPR soon. As a requirement, while VISA stamping, your passport must have 6 months validity.

As far your post informing us, your passport validity might not fulfill that requirement. So, I would suggest you to renew your passport and send a copy of the new passport to SGVO or your local VO through raising a CSE.

i am fswp14 applicant (filed- 29 dec 14). still ecas 2 line ....in process.....mycic - (review in progress)..MR- not needed at this time. one or two month ago i sent a CSE ( they replied- one of our officer is reviewing your file...plz dont send any inquiry until you get a letter with decision) ....so what is my condition? should i wait for a negative result? or still some hope remains? plz answer

What is your NOC? Better if you can update your profile. This would help us to know more about your situation.

My assumption is, CIC is processing applicants with changing/ dynamic NOC's fast & slower NOC's slowly.
For example, AFAIK, all IT related NOC applicants have completed the processing without few exceptions. IT is a dynamic sector. Technology trends/skill requirements change very quickly.
On the other hand, most business related NOC applicants are in the process (myself too).

Waiting is the best thing we can do is such situations, I guess. ???

That's my core belief for long & still i'm on it. There must be some prioritizing factors set by CIC for PR applications processing. It's not FIFO or based on BG finishing time or etc. Except for any abnormal application situation (i.e. applications somehow waiting for very long), all other applications are set different priority by CIC, I guess.

Dear experts,

No sooner had I got medical request, I raised a CSE to update my current home address and it happened almost a month ago. My PCC (police clearance certificate) that I sent a week ago contains my current home address as well. Today while checking my app status, I found that cic didn't update my address yet. Can anyone tell, how long usually it takes for the change to be reflected in the app status?

Happy to announce that after long waiting for about 20 months from AOR date, I got MR on 28/11/16. My app date was 14th Nov 2014, AOR 16th March 2016. Thank you.
