Dear mates,

I am a FSW 2014 applicant. After a long wait, I have received med request last week and also advised by VO to sent Background/Deceleration Schedule A form IMM 5669, PCC and RPRF. While I was waiting for my med request, I changed my current home address which CIC was not informed of. Now my PCC will mention my new address. In this case, how would I inform CIC about my current home address and raise a change request?

Need your kind assistance in this regard and thanks in advance.

Hello guys,

Hope you all are having a great day. I have a small inquiry. If anybody can assist me with this question it will be greatly appreciated. My brother in law got a job offer (NOC-B) at Nova Scotia, Sydney and will be applying for a work permit (from Bangladesh) where the employer stated that he would be LMIA exempt because of the following reasons -

1) The position was posted online, magazines for 3 months to get a local person to fill in the post but they were unable to find one (had 13 applicants and none of them were qualified)
2) The position meets the median salary for the post

Please let me know if this will make the job position LMIA exempt or not.

Did the employer specify the LMIA exempt code? They have to include the code in their offer letter if they think it's an exemption.

Always carry USD when you will come to Canada. After landing, just go to the money exchange and convert to CAD. You will be benefited.

I think, when u buy US$, u need to pay commission n when u convert it to CAD again u pay commission. So it is costly.

In a bank 1 CAD=58/59 taka.

At local market of Motijheel 1CAD = 63/63.50

Hello Rossei,

Thank you very much for your reply. I apologize for not being very elaborate in my previous post. Just to make things clearer my brother in law is applying for a temp work permit (not express entry or immigration). Will that make a difference? I have seen his offer letter and that does not include the LMIA exempt codes you mentioned in your previous post.

I had the impression that the invitation letter is just a application to the visa office about the purpose of visit and supplemented by additional documents like our PR number and employment details? Also do we need to provide a employment reference letter with this? What is the format of that.

Some will say that the pregnancy reason isn't good to show.
But it worked for me when I invited my in-laws on same occasion. But they visited Canada before our marriage which is a big plus point. And yes, I provided a doctor's letter along with the invitation letter.

Again, NOA/T4 is treated as the best evidence to prove your income. Then comes other things. If you have set your mind that you're going to invite her, you need to include the following:
1. Employment verification letter from HR department of your employer that states your job position, annual salary and starting date
2. Few recent pay slips
3. 4 - 6 months' bank statements if it's healthy
4. Any other docs (i.e. property ownership) that proves that you have enough room & money to bear the expenses of your MIL
Your MIL needs to show similar financial docs as well.
