If you're considering bus, the only option you have is Greyhound which will cost you only ~$50 for 2 adults & 1 child (2-11 years). This is a web only price which you have to buy online (credit card) in advance and is also non-refundable. There are usually 5~6 schedules per day. Last time I hopped on to a bus was years back, so don't exactly know how many luggage you can take free. If it's 2 small/medium per person; then you're fine. But if you have tons of large suitcases; you may have to pay extra or the drive may not allow that many if it doesn't leave any room for others.

Tomorrow i will send a case specific enquiry to svo.... as i m waiting for 4 months 13 days after sending mr pcc and rprf.... is there any problem if i do so???? Dont u feel my application has crossed normal processing time??
I m a bit scared whether they will consider my query negatively or not.... i hv heard that some applicants got req for photos after sending these 3 papers....but for me nothing for the last 4.5 months..
Please reply and help me out.....

I think it is normal. Hope your medical was okay. Wait it is canada but you should get PP request with in two months after medical. Hope for the best. I am waiting last five years.

Hi,

Currently total process time is 19 months from VO office receive your application so still there is timing to get back to you. But in general after MR, the PPR is coming 30~45 days. But sometime it may delay by case to case.

I would suggest you need to keep patience for your last call and Allah will help you.

how long does it take to get VFS Dhaka SMS and Email since you have seen ur status is decision is dispatched to Dhaka VFS at VFS tracking file.
my friend wanted to know as he send his passport on 10th and 20th he got that status in VFS tracking web?

Hi,

Here some points would help you to understand about it.

Background Check by Visa Office


There are total 9 factors that can cause an applicant inadmissible to Canada during background check.

1. Criminality (have a criminal record in any country)
2. Organized Criminality (Org Crime in GCMS Note)
3. Security (failed background checks)
4. Human and International Rights Violation (HIRV in GCMS Note)
5. Health (failed medical exam)
6. Financial Reasons (have less then the minimum settlement funds)
7. Misrepresentation (failed to be truthful during the application or omitted information)
8. Non-compliance with Act (failed to provide any requested information/documents the immigration officer requested or failed to attend a Personal Selection Interview)
9. Inadmissible Family Members (the above reasons for any family member indicated as a dependent on the application form)


If you met all of above points then no need to worry and need to wait to finish there ground work.

Very sad to know that we got Inadmissible Family Members letter from VO, they asked to submit additional information within 60 days. FYI I have downs boy 9+ yrs old.
VO wrote
"Before I make a final decision, you have the opportunity to submit additional information that addresses any or all of the following:

The medical condition(s) identified
Social services required in Canada for the period indicated above
Your individualized plan to ensure that no excessive demand will be imposed on Canadian social services for the entire period indicated above and your signed Declaration of Ability and Intent.

You must provide any additional information within 60 days of the date of this letter. If you choose not to respond, I will make my decision based on the information before me, which may result in your application being refused."

Can you help me, how to prepare and what kind information we should put together?

I have created MYCIC by GCkey.
At the end of link my application with MYCIC account, I have got notices like "Note: By linking your application to this account, you will now receive all messages and updates through this account."

1) Does this means, afterward they will not communicate me by E-mail?
2) If they require any further documentation then how they will communicate?
