Hello Forum experts ,

We know that PR validity is 5 yrs .Is this calculated from visa issue date (SGVO) or from PR card issue date ?
My visa issue date is 10/09/2015 (and expire should be 10/09/2020 ) .But my PR card expires on 10/09/2021 .
I have to live in Canada at least 2 yrs within 5 yrs .But I am confused which should be my last 2 yrs ?

Regards
Azad

PR Status has nothing to do with PR Visa. Besides, did you really get 5-year PR Visa?

Anyway, when did you actually land in Canada to become a PR? This date is printed at the back of your PR Card. Count 5 years from that date which should be pretty close to your card expiry (10/09/2021).

Requesting feedback.

1. Review about turkish airways (with a newborn)?
2. Shall we be able to get SIN if we land on weekends?

Please reply.

Hi.

1. I heard that planes that Turkish Airways operates between Dhaka and Istanbul do not have spacious seats. That was the only reason why we avoided it.

2. We did not try this. I heard there is a "Service Canada" office at the airport. But it may be closed on weekends since it is a Gov't service center. But, apa, is that really urgent? :) I know it's so exciting and that you would like to get all things done on your long to-do list as soon as you could, but, instead of rushing on that, taking a break on the day you land, and going to the nearest Service Canada office on the next weekday would be more relaxing. It would be a same-day service. The agent would verify your identity and issue a SIN to you right away.

Two months have passed since I have sent my Med to Singapore Visa Office. I heard that it takes only 1 to 1.5 months.

Could you please tell me what might be the cause of late?

Thank you...

( Im have applied through MPNP. Med done from Wahab's)

Hello Farhana,

I'm not an expert in FSW app, but to the best of my knowledge, none of your application detail will change till you get your PPR. You're at the last stage and you will get PPR while MyCIC will still show background check in-progress. Furthermore, final decision will turn to "Approved" once either you get your PPR or you get PR Visa/CoPR (which is more likely).

So, there is nothing much you can do now other than wait.

Is it true that if one's using an agent/lawyer the app can't be linked?

Yes True.

Can anyone response pls.

In the form of IMM5669, Regarding Personal history (sl #8 ) and address (sl #12 ), I should not keep any gap in information since 18. But the number of row is not enough to give all information. In such case what to do? Is it acceptable by CIC if I add additional page

If you need more space to explain your situation on your immigration form, attach a separate sheet of paper. On the paper, give the full answer. Don’t forget to write down the letter or number of the question you are answering.

I am principal applicant with spouse and 2 kids below 6 years.
for the case of online payment for RPRF, I have to put count of 'number of applications'. What the count will be my case? 1 or 2 or 4?

I am bit confuse about following statement

(Your fees
Right of Permanent Residence Fee Application $CAN BDT
Getting your permanent resident status 490 N/A

Principal applicants (with some exceptions) and spouses and common-law partners coming with them to Canada must pay this fee. Applicants must pay this fee before CIC issues the permanent resident visa or before the applicant becomes a permanent resident in Canada.

These people do not have to pay this fee:

dependent children of a principal applicant or sponsor, a child to be adopted, or an orphaned brother, sister, niece, nephew or grandchild; and protected persons, including Convention refugees.)

Can anyone comments on this?

Dear Experts,

Does linking my CiC Account is necessary for 2014 FSW applicant?
In passport request they also asked my friend to send them recent Photograph by giving photogrpaher to put the studio name etc. at back of photo.
also in PPR letter they have written this lettter does not mean applicant visa is confirmed and also request him to buy tickets. is these are common in case of PPR request.

By the mercy of almighty Allah, got my passports back with Visa and COPR on 05.October 2016.
Gratitude to all the forum members, for their remarkable support…
It’s a game of patience and luck. :)

You'll pay for 2, you and your spouse.
