Any airlines other than Turkish and Emirates providing discount for immigrants through IOM?

AFAIK only Emirates and Turkey

i am new in dis forum. I am getting ready for applying for Canada immigration within few months. Most likely i'll apply for PNP. But i have little confusion over my JD. I am a banker by profession having experience over 9 years. My current job title is 'Manager, Customer service". It is mainly a branch operational & service related job. i am the 2nd in charge of the branch in terms of responsibilities.

Do i really fit under NOC 0122? Coz i have seen many applicants got rejected due to JD mismatch. Can u anyone help?

Hello everyone,

I'm an express entry(FSW Outland) applicant from Bangladesh. Its really great to see so many people from Bangladesh in this forum.

I have a small query. I was asked to send my passport to SGVO recently and I submitted it on 28th july. However, mycic account is also showing me the option to upload my passport and a digital photo replacing the previous ones. It also has a deadline. The email that I received didn't have any instructions about uploading these. Did anyone face anything similar? Please note that I had to have my passport reissued after PPR because of validity issue which I already sent via CSE. Do you think I should upload these documents eventhough there was no instructions given to me? Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

One of My Senior Friend/Mentor is desperately interested to apply in CA under FSW express entry. his details as-

Age- 46
Education- Master of Pharmacy
Extra diploma- Supply chain (or other but not related to Marketing & Pharmacy)

Job experience: Marketing (Pharmaceuticals Product) 6 years and Admin management as DGM (Product Promotional Management like)

He wants to apply under Marketing category.
1. Whether he is correct for NOC?
2. Whether Marketing degree/diploma is mandatory to apply under marketing category?
3. Which other ALTERNATIVE NOC is suitable for him?

Please suggest.

As far as I can understand, I have to take at least the amount of fund that I showed in my Proof of funds . Can any one guide me how to take this amount (For 2 adult 2 children) legally from Bangladesh to Canada.

Also, how long does it take to update ecas after sending everything?

My intended landing place was Halifax, Nova Scotia which is also mentioned in COPR. After getting the permanent residency I found one of my childhood bosom friend who is staying in Waterloo, Toronto. Now, if I want to land in Toronto other than Halifax, will it create any problem from CIC? . One of our BCCB(Bangladesh Canada Canada Bangladesh) forum member said as it mentioned in COPR, so i have to land in Halifax first, then move towards. Please help me out.

Hi! If you are not an Quebec applicant then you can land anywhere and use POE because Quebec applicant needs CSQ#, you can still land in Quebec but you have to register your landing records at local immigration office of your place of destination except Quebec and vice versa applicable. And also, if you are a PNP applicant, you can land anywhere (Quebec exception - see above) and use POE but the immigration officer usually ask for your ticket to PNP destination and might ask why did you land there (common answer is, not all destinations have direct international flights). However, if you are FSW applicant then you can land (Quebec exception - see above) and live anywhere regardless of your mentioned destination at COPR. Hope this works.

Any immigrant can carry $7000 with him or her. so legally you 4 are eligible to carry $28000 with you.
