Congrats to all applicant those who received visa and pray for rest of the applicants to get the awaited VISA.

For Applicants who has received Visa/submitted PP/planning to travel shortly-

LET us seat together in 5th or 6th of Aug'16. I think it will help us to know and keep future communication properly once we land in Canada.
Venue: Any restaurent- Gulsan Aarong Area/DU campus - Business Faculty Area/suitable mid place of Dhaka.
Time: approx. 3pm if Friday/11am if Saturday

Or Place/ time- Choice of Majority can be honored
Let us Include details below if the proposal OK, if any one has different proposal/opinion, let's share here.

I've sent an email to MANILIMMIGRATION [at] international.gc.ca for solving the issue. no Response yet.

I guess, they will advice me to send the PCC via courier, directly to Manila. ( I often wish it wud be grt if they want a scanned copy only, via email ;-) instead of original hardcopy) I should be prepared to do that ASAP, after they reply my mail.
I'll wait till that. I don't think it wud be wise to take any step, before their advice.

BTW, my ECAS has been updated : "4. Medical results have been received."

What VFS told you... I took expert opinion. They told that courier through DHL ll b ok. And also asked to send them softcopy of pcc alongwith other docs mentioning original already sent to them which is on the way...

Pls let us knw if u get any reply from manila. But if they didn't reply within the deadline what should we do? I took expert advice regarding this. They told that DHL is ok but also asked to send pcc softcopy alongwith other docs..

Anyone has first hand experience in taking fund via RFCD account ?

Banks are giving confusing information. Even same bank different AD Branch giving different information.

So far what learnt:
1. FDD can be issued against your RFCD balance; takes 45 days to encash in Canada.
2. Cash $ can be endorsed against the RFCD, one bank saying it will be under Travel Quota, another saying it wont be. :-s
3. Two separate RFCD A/C can be opened, but question is whether two Banks will be able to give Cash$ or not ?
4. International Debit Card can be taken, but there will be charge for Withdrawing cash from ATMs in Canada (Rate varies from Bank to Bank)


It would be great if you anyone can share their experience w.r.t RFCD account(s).

Hi everyone,

Just received an email from S'pore immigration and immediately came to this forum to seek your advice.

The email says "This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada. Our registered mail to your following given address was returned undelivered. It is your responsibility to notify this office of any change in your mailing/email addresses, contact numbers, marital status, family configuration. Please advise your current, complete and correct mailing address as soon as possible so we can re-send the returned mail."

The address they sent it to is correct and I'm currently residing at the address.

About 2 months ago I mailed out a package where I included (as per S'pore immigration's request) all docs requested EXCEPT for a police clearance from FBI -- I included a cover letter where I explained that FBI needs about 3 months to process my request and that as soon as I receive it I'll send S'pore immigration that clearance.

I have DHL tracking report that says that the package has been received at S'pore immigration.

I've been checking my application status online since then -- the last entry there is that they've received medical results. It didn't change and there is no indication that they've received my package minus the FBI clearance letter. I assumed there's no change because they are waiting for the FBI clearance.

I'm not sure what they've sent me in their registered mail for which I received the email today and I don't know how to respond to this email -- as the address is correct but their registered mail to me was reported undelivered.

What do you think they sent in the registered mail? Do you suggest I send them a pre-paid DHL envelope so they can send to me whatever they're trying to send to me?

Please -- any help would be greatly appreciated.
