Hello seniors,
After receiving PPR on 22/07/16, submitted the passports to vfs on 26 July and they reached SGVO on 29 July.
But I need to travel abroad for training purpose from 12th August.
If I consider minimum 38 days from date of receipt by SGVO to receive passports back, I may get them on 6th August at the earliest. But if SGVO delays more, example >7 weeks which few people here faced, then I shall miss my training abroad.
Please advise whether I should inform SGVO about my urgency to get the passports back. If yes, should I email them or raise a CSE?

Yes. You can inform SGVO about your urgency. They will consider your urgency. You should email them.

I received this e-mail from VFS:

I forwarded this to Manila Visa office, asking alternative methods for sending PCC. And also requested to extend time.
Bro sadek hr, You should also mail them asking further advice for alternative advice & time extension.

Most forum members have gone to Canada? It's tough to get advice from forum now a days !

Color scanned copy/es of you & your family member’s passport/s along with the VISA page/s (page 1-5 for old passport and the only page with information for new passport)

I sent my PP on 12 June. Received on 15 June. Visa issued on 27 June. Dispatched on 21 July. Got back on 24 July.
As per current trend you have to wait around 35 - 40 days.

By the grace of Almighty Allah, I have received visa and COPR today.

To reach this achievement I had to wait long 2 years and I had to do research for knowhow & guidance from this forum for 7 days and 12 hours (login time in forum).

So thank you all (current and old) forum mates as you all contributed in this success.
