As I need to retake IELTS, Is there any way I can recreate my profile later and cancel the existing one?

you can create as many profile as you want. Even if you retake your IELTS within the expiry time, you can update it in the same profile. No harm.

Do we have any whatsapp group for Bangladeshi applicants? If yes, please give no for add request.

Dear All:

By the grace of almighty I have completed short landing on 11th June in Toronto with family. We used Turkish airlines and reached on 11th June Saturday after 6 pm. The Service Canada counter was closed during that time and we had to do the SIN application later on Monday. The landing formalities were really very smooth and welcoming. Right after immigration desk we were guided to another counter where an officer took all the COPR papers. After a while he returned all docs and requested for an address to deliver the cards. After collecting luggage we were asked if we had anything to declare and then was forwarded to another counter where we had to show B4 forms. The officer there stamped the good to carry in future documents and told us to preserve the document. However, we were also asked if we were carrying fund more than CAD 10K. After completing all formalities we were set to go outside Pearson. We stayed in Canada for only 4 days and after that we started for our next destination UK. Overall it was an amazing experience - bit tiring though especially when you travel with two kids.

I would welcome any question if you have.

Best

How to send PCC via VFS ?

Recently I've been advised by CIC to send "Original and updated Bangladesh police certificate", which I understand should be sent via VFS.
Has anyone any recent experience regarding this?

  • How much fee is required? I guess it's BDT 2512 ?
  • Do I need to show/provide any other documents to VFS ?
  • Should I provide only the PCC or add a forwarding letter or put it in a sealed envelope, with my application & UCI numbers?
  • Whats the best time to visit VFS?
  • How long does it take to complete the formalities?
  • Any other advice?

TIA

As far as I can remember, I sent my PCC via DHL. Please go through the instruction sent in the email where they've outline the mode of sending documents.

You got PPR and PPC together ?

Dear all,

My application is still in progress and no site visit/ call yet... now if I leave the country for 10 days...should I inform SGVO about it by raising CSE/ Email? Please suggest me...

Thanks in advance

1. First of all get your ECA report and take preparation for IELTS. These two are prerequisites.
2. Decide in which program you want to apply. Express Entry or PNP?
3. Calculate your score and requirements then set IELTS target.
For Express Entry: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/express-entry/grid-crs.asp
For PNP browse and explore all province's website. PNP requirement varies from province to province
For general info of PNP: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/provincial/
4. Decide your NOC and prepare your Job Description accordingly.
Browse: http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/NOC/English/NOC/2011/OccupationIndex.aspx
You will find instruction on JD here: http://www.fsw2014.info/sample-reference-letter/

b) JD
c) Release letter (in any)
d) Promotion letter (if any)
e) Salary certificate and payslip (recent month)
c) Visiting Card of your and your manager (optional)

At this stage of application it's not necessary to inform SGVO if you leave country for short time.
Before leaving make sure that your colleagues will take extra care in case of site visit. Keep your contact number open to get notified about site visit.
