Today I've received a postal mail from SGVO containing -
1. Me and my spouse's Photos which were sent with the application in Dec 2014.
2. One Receipt of payment of CAD 1100. (Application fees of me & my spouse)

What does it mean ?

I just checked MyCIC It Shows 'A background check is needed .....In Progress' I don't know what dose it mean. I thought we are at the final stage!

Today I've received a postal mail from SGVO (posted on 10th June 2016) containing the following :

1. One small envelop labelled "Return Old Photos" containing me and my spouse's Photos which were sent with the application in Dec 2014.
2. One Receipt of payment of CAD 1100. (Application fees of me & my spouse)
There is no other instruction or info.

What does it mean ?

Btw, I've already sent PCC, RPRF, PP copies and Background Declaration Forms which was delivered to SGVO on 6th June '16.

What is your ecas status showing?

If your fee is accepted then no need to worry. Old photos is no longer used, they may ask you new photos

Alhamdulillah, I have received my passport with the Immigrant stamp. This thread has always been a great help for me from Day 01. I just want to ask my fellow Bengali Bhai's to help me decide which province to move from their experience.

My Qualification- ACCA Member, CPA Canada Member
Work Experience- 3.5 years of working in Accounting and Finance sector in Bangladesh + 6 months in Qatar

Can anyone suggest me which province has the most accounting jobs?

I have a known person in Toronto and I can only stay in his house for 2 weeks. After 2 weeks, I will have to start paying my bills on my own. We are a family of two people.

Can anyone suggest which city & province will be suitable for us to find accounting jobs? and favorable cost of living?

I would really appreciate any feedback from you guys.

When did ur RPRF,PCC reach in Singapore office?

Its normal. Actually only two copies of required for COPR.

14 days passed still medical received is not showing is it a problem? all documents received by singapore yesterday pls reply

Count the day from the 2nd day of Medical done. Wait 3 working days more. After that call to the physician chamber and check whether they uploaded the report or not

Can someone give me some advice on how much money I can take and the best way to do so.

Visa received: June 2016

You should come with as much money as you can.

Dont worry about the immigration section in Airport. They even dont ask about the your visa.

Keep cool. Just prepare yourself

Yesterday I received passports with VISA. It has taken 5 years 5 months (approx.) to complete the process.

Many many thanks to Mr. Rumel and other members of this forum since they provided lots of support in different odd situations of my application.

You can come Toronto. Jobs are available here than others.

Do some research about your field. But currently, Canada is going on in recession. Other province has cut down the manpower already.
