I applied for Canadian Immigration under FSW 2014 and my application has just been rejected due to VC. My rejection letter indicates that I should have not contracted the unauthorized agent and use of their service has certainly cast some doubt on the strength of my application. Even the Visa officer was of the opinion that I might have fabricated my employment reference with help from my agent. It was so sad to read that I might have fabricated by employment reference!
I am aware of the fact that numerous recent candidates who applied taking help from the same agent is facing rejections. Is there a way I can knoe the names of other candidates who are also rejected due to VC. We might unite and take some actions.

No there is no hope if they ban you for 5 years. VC clients are gettting 5 years ban. CIC must have sent you a "Procedural Fairness Letter" by email asking the proper reason of why u used VC ? Rejection letter must come after PF letter. Did u get PF letter before rejection where u had been given 30 days to provide your explanation? Pls check with VC for PF email. CIC never rejected any application before giving PF (Show Cause) letter with 30 days time due to avoid legal suit.

Also pls check whether u got 5 years ban. If not, u have a great chance to apply for PNP

I recommend you to apply through relative/friends who is Canadian citizen. Its easier and will cost you only 5 CAD. Apart from that, did you notify them that you are VC client? You should have told them about VC and that you left them. Did you do any of it?

Fund carrying is a real pain on XXX.. The thumb rule is per applicant can take 7000 USD - maximum limit set by Bangladesh Bank. But one thing that does not make sense is when a person is migrating for good, what could he do to transfer the money that he might get from property sells?? .. Another question is whether the money that you carry will be taxed in Canada or not?

7000 USD per adult and 3500 per children; that is the limit. So husband, wife and two kids can carry 21000 USD legally.

The money that you carry with (1st time) is exempted from tax. For bigger amounts such as money from property sales can not be transferred easily.

However there is a way. Say for example, you know mr. X in Canada who needs to send a big amount of money in Bangladesh. Now you arrange to pay him BDT in Bangladesh and take CAD from him in Camada.

This way, transferring big money is possible but it still will be taxable in Canada.
