Thanks Ruhee vai for giving me the chance for more clarification. :)

For your information:
Although any FSW applicant would be allowed to enter through a Quebec POE(Port of Entry), they cannot complete the 'Record of Landing' here. And would have to further drive/fly to another province (any) to report to its Immigration Officer for the 'completion' of record of landing. This is because Quebec needs the CSQ (Quebec Selection Certificate) to complete this procedure. Which only is for a Quebec PR applicant(who have the CSQ). However, it is not vice-versa. A Quebec PR applicant can do all the formalities in any other Canadian POE. He must be landing any POE in Quebec.

So, you can land Quebec also but your application status would not be completed until you have entered in different Province by Flying or Driving. Thats why for avoiding hassles, it is not recommended to land in Quebec at the first entry.

Hope it is cleared now.

rumel bhai,

The question of landing (Sami bhai asked 'Will there be any issue if I land and settle in a place which I didn't write as my destination in the application?') meant where you can live and work. VISA of FSW will not let you do that in Quebec. That's all I wanted to correct. no offence.

If you can not complete immigration in Quebec, that means no difference if you transit through JFK or Seattle.

As you mentioned except Quebec, thats why I explained in details in addition with your correction.

You can land in Canada at least. Where you can do everything except the completion of the procedure as immigrant. Thats why I mentioned you can land and settle in Quebec also bt you can do it after the completion of Record of landing. :)

Bt from JFK and Seatle you cant do like that at least :P

Thanks indeed for your correction

You can settle in Quebec without CSQ after the completion of landing formalities in different province.

After getting the PR card you can move anywhere in Canada. Canadian Immigrants has fully mobility rights.

Before getting PR card you can also move but you should use address except Quebec.

There is no restriction to do job and settle in Quebec after getting the PR card.

Again I am saying you just need to complete "Record of landing" only in different province which is not possible in Quebec without CSQ. Other things are same as like you can do in other province

Rumel vai,

I am a QSW applicant. I have to complete my "Record of landing" only in QC province. Right? But can anyone move to any other province after getting the PR Card?

As you are QSW applicant and you have CSQ, you cant move to any other provinces with PR card as like FSW immigrants.

But you can move after 2 years of staying in Quebec out of 3 years which is the rules of Provincial Government of Quebec.

Thanks Falam vai. I have few more question to you as you have gone through this process.

Where did you send your documents? to CIC canada or MVO?

Did you send bank 150$ draft to CIC or MVO?

How much time they took to process your child's document after her/his birth?

I will be glad if you kindly answer these question.

Learned a lot from your great quality discussions brothers Thanks once again!
By the way I am planning to settle in London, Ontario, as one of my uncles is living there and he is suggesting me to go over there. I am also preferring this city as this is near to Toronto, have some good educational institutions, HQ of some financial institutions and most importantly I will get some initial support from my uncle. Does anyone else have better idea of London, Ontario or have plan to go to that city? If yes, please share your views.

Today I received request letter to pay the RPRF Fee. They give me deadline for 7 days. I had an understanding that they asked to pay this fee with passport before issuing visa.

Can anybody have any idea how long it may take to request for passport after paying this RPRF fees?

Thanks in advance!

Salaam Hasan bhai.

In sha allah Our EDD is May, so we are yet to start procesing for our 2nd child. I got plan to make payment via credit card, if they allow.

I beleive all intrcuctuons will be there from CIC/VO on how and we ahould send papers and fee.

I am also searching about the time that they will take to process our new born. Please do let me know if you come across any legit information.

My experience on timing is that "It varies, from applicant to applicant, from visa officer to visa officer"

Hope it helps.
