By the grace of Allah, the Almighty, Merciful, Benevolent I've received the 'diamond mail' for PPR today. Alhamdulillah! Thanks to all of my forum mates for your support, encouragement and valuable discussion in the time of crisis. Where no one to share the pain during the waiting game I found this forum to express myself and got some ways to remain calm, patient and faithful! Thank u all!

I pray for the members who are still waiting to get call from their respective VOs. Please keep me and my family in your prayer too so that the remaining journey become smooth.

With sincerest regards...

Alhamdulillah. Congrats vai. Best wishes.

Far as I recall, residency obligation for Denmark citizenship is tough. You have to continue earning a minimum income and reside in Denmark for 8 years.

8 years is too long, by that time you'll become Danish by heart

Otherwise people would misuse Danish citizenship and go to UK or Germany.

Dear All, by the blessing of the One, I have received my PPR today. Thanks to all members of this forum. Without your support it wouldnt have been possible. And I still need some clarification on further processing and need your opinion. I was originally SGVO applicant and then my file was transferred to Manilla VO. The PPR mail came from Manila VO too and even in the attached form, Manila is written above the bar code. But They didnt give me any specific destination address. However, in the attached instructions, they said that all Bangladeshi & some other country Passports should be sent to Singapore VO which seemed like a generic format. My confusions are:

1. Am I going to fill up any destination address in VFS for sending passport? If yes, where should I send my Passport, SGVO or MVO?

2. During the processing time, I obtained new MRP passport and raised a CSE with copy of the new passport to inform them. Do I have to send my old passport/passport copy along with my New original passport through VFS?

3. The attached form in the mail is in PDF format and I cannot type on it. Is it ok if I print it and fill up by hand writing?

4. The letter mentioned their photo specifications has been changed recently. Last time I took photo from Fotoworld in Elephant Road. not sure if they are aware of this change. Any suggestions for photo studio in Dhaka?

Brothers & Sisters, Hope everyone is doing good! Just to let you know that, the longest wait of my life is over now. My spouse & I received our passports today with the canadian visa. Please keep us in your prayers. I pray to almighty that those who are still in the waiting zone, will get their call very soon. Cheers!

- Go to VFS in Gulshan 2, beside unimart. They will do the rest. And yes they will send it to SVGO. Thats our main VO.

Dont take laptop/tab etc with u. They wont let u enter with those.

2. During the processing time, I obtained new MRP passport and raised a CSE with copy of the new passport to inform them. Do I have to send my old passport/passport copy along with my New original passport through VFS?

- In my opinion yes, attach both the PPs. Also take photocopy of pps. They charge 3 tk per page :P

3. The attached form in the mail is in PDF format and I cannot type on it. Is it ok if I print it and fill up by hand writing?

- No other option. It has to be handwritten

4. The letter mentioned their photo specifications has been changed recently. Last time I took photo from Fotoworld in Elephant Road. not sure if they are aware of this change. Any suggestions for photo studio in Dhaka?

- I have taken my pic at Elephant Road Fotoworld (On top of Bata, Right?) they know their business very well. Having said that, its better to take the specifications sheet with u and inform them about the canges. Also dont forget to Stamp one pic/person with their official seal.

Congratulations! Pls find my responses from my own experience.

Congrats for the PPR. Please check your answers below:

1. SGVO. That's your original VO
2. New passport will be enough if you dont have any valid visa on your previous passport. But to omit confusion, submit both the passports, I submitted my old & new passport. Take photocopies of the passports of yourself, your spouse & your dependants.
3. Hand written form is OK.
4. There are lots of photo studios just opposit of the VFS building. They will give you instant photos. Also take the photo specifications with you. There are FUJI & other studios. I took my photo from there. If you go around 12.00pm, then you will get the photo before 2.00PM.

Also, please take copy of the mail & the passport request form. Best of luck.

Thanks
Debashish
