অনেক আশা নিয়ে ২০১৪ সালে FSW আবেদন করলাম; মনে অনেক আশা ছিল ২০১৫ সালে আমি কানাডা নিবাসী হব। ২০১৫ সালের জানুয়ারী মাসের ৯ তারিখ যখন PER পেলাম, তখন মনে হল বছরটা বুঝি Lucky হবে। ফেব্রুয়ারী মাসের ৭ তারিখ যখন AOR পেলাম, তখন মনে হল ২০১৫ সালটা বুঝি Lucky 7 এর মত Lucky হবে। যা হোক তারপর শুরু হলো আশা, হতাশা, অপেক্ষা আর টেনশন। ২০১৫ সালের প্রথম ২ মাস বাদ দিলে বাকী ১০ মাস এর প্রাপ্তি আশা, হতাশা, অপেক্ষা আর টেনশন। ২০১৫ এর শুরুটা ভাল হলেও শেষ পযন্ত ১০০ ভাগ ভালো হলো না। তবুতো ২০১৫ সালে কিছুটা প্রাপ্তি আছে। আশা করছি ২০১৬ সালের প্রাপ্তিটা আরো অনেক বেশী হবে। সে্ আশা নিয়ে ২০১৬ সালের শুরু হচ্ছে। আমার মতো আরো যারা একটা Lucky ২০১৬ সালের অপেক্ষায় আছেন তাদের জন্য শুভেচ্ছা এবং একটা Lucky বৎসর এর কামনা করছি।

২০১৫ সালের Lucky ও Unlucky সকলকে HAPPY NEW YEAR 2016.

Good to know Mahbub bhai. I in sha allah plan to land in June. Let me know if you could contact IOM. I tried over phone but could not reach. Ws interested to know whether we can buy only one way ticket through IOM. If one way, how much less it is than the usual price for family with four members. By the way, Are you going for good or do a short landing there?

Yes. They do sell tickets Dhaka - Toronto at BDT 72,000.

I called another travel agent, who told Saudi Airlines fare is BDT 57,000. (Dhaka - Toronto).

It should be after PER but I think all of you overlooked their terms and conditions

Processing times will vary based on:

1. Type of application submitted;
2. Volume of applications received;
3. How easily we can verify information;
4. How well and how quickly you respond to any requests or concerns;
5. Whether the application is complete.

Many more people want to immigrate to Canada than the Government of Canada can bring in each year under our annual immigration plan. Applications received after the maximum has been met may have to wait longer to be processed.

Exactly. Moreover:

Before 2008 >> 133 monrhs (!)
Between 2008 - 2010 >> 66 months (!)
After Jan, 2015 >> 6 months (!)

What is new in here? We have known all this. Its just a quote from the application guideline, what is meant here is "may be" the minimum time to complete.

Happy New Year! I have a query, specially for Manila VO Applicants. I received my medical, RPRF, PCC & other required documents request on December, 2015 & already sent the documents via DHL. However, no where in my DHL tracking or in DHL receipt, the whole destination address is mentioned. It only shows The Philipines, Manila.

The signing receivers name is showing - "SG BERONIA FR".

Im really really tensed if the package was delievered to the right address or not. Is there any Manila VO applicant who can shade light on this please?? :-[ :-[

Pls chk ur ecas showing "medical resuts have been received". However in my case it showed full address viz Makati city center..

How are processing times calculated?
Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) calculates processing times from the day CIC receives an application to the day it makes a decision on the application.

As per this information in the Help Guide of CIC website it says "From the day CIC receives an application". Go to the CIC Offices page on the CIC website and CPC Sydney (Nova Scotia) is a CIC office.

So it is from the day Case Processing Centre Nova Scotia (and not Visa Office as a lot of people believe) received your application, and this date is reflected in your eCAS, First Line, We received your application on (date). 13 months from This Date. NOT from PER or AOR or Blah Blah
