Dear Mr. Asif

I guess you submitted your application on end November or early December. At this moment, you can only wait. Because Singapore Visa Office haven't started working on Nov-Dec files yet.

Hang tight, hope you (and everyone with Nov-Dec timelines) will get an update by February 2016.

Thanks for the reply Desertfox bhai. I went ahead with the GCMS just to see if there is something. You know a lot depends on this piece of application that I submitted last year. At least, something to be sure that there is nothing out of the ordinary yet. Hopefully Feb'16 would be brighter for all of us, especially the 0911s.

One thing, the Work Experience : 0 thing does not mean anything then? Or they are waiting for a site verification and then would put it down.

Thanks again. Hanging in tightly :P

I can't interpret about their remarks on work experience.

From GCMS notes of my friend I have seen visa office states eligibility only as one of the following

'Not Started'
Review Required"
'Passed'

Can you share further details of your GCMS? Experts here can interpret it better than me.

By the way, you mentioned that they awarded you a total of 71 points. How much point do you have by your own calculation?

Dear Mates,

Though it has been discussed many times but I missed that topic that time. So can anyone help me about the following queries:

1) Can I carry equivalent amount of CAD instead of USD to avoid conversion loss?

2) What is the maximum limit of USD/equivalent CAD I can carry during my first entry to Canada as PR holder? Some says USD 5000, some says USD 7000.

3) If for any emergency, I need additional money, how to transfer it from BD to Canada? Can Western Union money transfer be a solution?

4) SCB has stopped issuing traveler's check. Is there any other option?

Thanks//

AB bhai,

There are two types of payment receipt.

1. If you pay by your own CC then you will receive a payment slip where you have to fill up with your
- UCI no.
- Address
- DOB
- Postal Code
- Area Code
- Phone no.

2. If you pay by others CC then you dont have to write anything. It is already filled up.
