Dear Forum Members,
I need your help regarding dollar endorsement from Bangladesh. According to Bangladesh Bank travel quota for all Bangladeshi nationals who travel overseas, For SAARC countries we can endorse up to 5000 dollars and for Non-SAARC countries endorse up to 7000 dollars; the cash allowance per trip is up to 3000 dollars!

I need to submit proof of fund to an immigration officer after landing in Canada. For single person, I need to carry minimum $11,931(CAD).

Can you guys please advice me how can I bring this amount in cash from Bangladesh to Canada?

Is there any chance of mental harassment in Dhaka airport during immigration passing if I told customs that i am carrying 12000 (CAD) with me based on their question?

If I tell lie to customs that I am carrying only 3000 CAD, will customs check my pocket to verify it?

Please give your advice.

As per Bangladesh Bank new rules you can carry 5000 USD (Max) in one travel trip. Other amount you can carry by your own risk, though there are flexibility for Immigrant. You can take the advantage of immigration police. Dhora khaile khushi kore diyen

So at Applicant Section should I write my SON's name and Enquired i nominate myself as Applicant and Write my name.

Still waiting for passport request. as per latest GCMS they have opened my file again on May 2015 and eligibility is review required which was earlier passed. there is due date is till Jun 2015 but still i have not received anything

I think as you are VC client, they will verify your file again and they are waiting for DPM's decision. So, wait with patience and keep faith on Allah(SWT)

Yes I had several persons viewing my profile. And I am pretty confident that they were from CIC because in summary page it clearly mentioned that. Please see below image of summary of my LinkedIn profile views:-

I have also submitted my passport on 30 Sept. Canada Visa Office received the application on 5 Oct., it's under process and ECAS is decision made with 8 lines. What about you?

I got 7 lines with DM, I don't think it has nothing to do with visa stamping.

I know someone's pp reached to CVAC SG at 6 oct and got the pp back in hand already along with COPR. Very annoying, isn't it .

Just checked and found that my ECAS status is showing 4 lines now.

1. We received your application for permanent residence on July XX, 2014.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on December XX, 2014.
3. We started processing your application on November XX, 2014.
4. We transferred your application to the Manila office on November XX, 2014. The Manila office may contact you.
