Got a post today from the SGVO this afternoon.
It is dated 22nd September.
The post contained the payment receipt of the initial application charge of CAD$1250 and a pouch with our photographs inside sent with the application.

Are you suppose to get these?

Thank you for your kind words....I follow this forum everyday only to hear updates of you all. At this time the only advice that I can give is have patience, stay strong, In Sha Allah you will receive your golden mails soon.

Thanks apu. But there should be a limit of patience. Have seen that your file has taken just 12 months from application to visa receive.
Did u get any doc request/PF or any type of back ground/JD verfications during ur processing?

I even got my RPRF without photo request.
Did you have yours without photo request?

They do not ask for photos with RPRF. They ask those with passport request.

U need to HV local / bd driving licence with few years of experiences to by pass few tests to get a Canadian diving lisecence .

So forget it vai! It won't help u now.

Please do not try short cuts to drive in those foreign countries. A lot of people using this mean involves in accidents and high insurance payment. Expats do not share their true experiences; I found them when I was in UK.
Take with you at least one lakh taka with the sole purpose of achieving a driving license; it should cover your lessons and test fees. You must practice enough to be confident that you will pass the exam. I used to drive in Dhaka, still I took more than 50 hours of lessons to practice before attending the driving test. And the result was I passed the test in the very first time with only one minor fault. The consequence was I paid a low insurance premium.
Dude almost all your ideas will turn wrong in Canada. You need to make a fresh start. Buy a VOIP dialer and speak with as much Canadian (not Bangladeshi) as you can to learn the system there.

I seek advice regarding the below issue:

I've got 4 lines without MR yet and ecas is showing 'In Process'. Meantime my mailing address/office address and residence address have changed. Would it be wise to notify VO abt d change or it would create confusion or cost some extra time?

Is there any possibility that VO could contact me other than e-mail?

Would appreciate ur advice.....

Yes brother, I got a PF letter sent to my home address (dated 22nd Jan). It reached me on 5th Feb, answered them immediately through email and post along with the supporting docs, got 2nd line update after 5 days and MR after almost 3 months.....Meanwhile my LinkedIn profile was visited and from GCMS I found out they checked my husband's Facebook as well as LinkedIn (he is not much into checking his LI profile so we were not aware before)....
