Verifying employment, settlement fund & other point based factor is the primary responsibilities of nominating province. CIC will issue your MR & conduct security screening only. However, CIC also has the right to do such employment, fund etc verification, in that case they will ask for your employment doc, fund etc again. If you get such document request from CIC than make sure you don't enclose your previous employment supporting documents if you don't have good relation with them. Enclose only the current one. **NB: Based on your case the prove you already provided into your EE profile regarding your previous job, I don't think they will conduct any verification on your employment. They only pass fishy application/presentation to that cursing review department that takes forever to end.
