thank u bro..i just raised a cse but didnt mention about the FB thing. They had termed it as 'open source' information. And the consultant i used i was under the impression that he's pretty good as he had dealt a lot of my friends cases. Had no doubts at all about his capabilities until now...

I understand your consultant is very professional. May I know these info- if your consultant is CIC registered & did they used their mailing address to your generic form? If you never mind share the name of that consultant as it would define many of us's luck in advance

They had reservations about my designation and wanted me to send docs regarding that and gave me 30 days time. I sent docs within a week. They had tallied with FB where I didn't write anything about my workplace. So they wanted confirmation.

i got the 5lu today evening. It seeemed like they were not convinced with my employment. But the sad part is all the docs i sent are genuine and i have no idea what decision theyve taken based on what. Reading all your opinions now it seems to me that it is negative and even that bcos of not updating my fb. They think i could be misrepresenting and have no idea why they would think so based on FB!

I just reading your case and I found that your ECAS is showing Decision Made. So there is no doubt about your file status and you can't find any result until you go through by any legal advisor and consultant who is registered CIC immigration consultant to deal with your case.

Re FB - Actually they don't check FB, but they like to mention name FB. Usually they check LinkedIn Profile and based on that they want to find out the applicant's professional working process and also linked with other colleagues or friends info that could help them to understand of applicant's professional outlook (at glance). In that case if anyone doesn't have linkedin profile then fine but if there is then should be updated match with documents provided with application.

Then question will arrived to many of you that how I know that they don't rely on FB because I don't have ID on FB and in GCMS note I found similar comments on Note-1. But my professional has matched with my documents in my linkedin and they have confirmed that they found FB match with my professional documents.

So check with your LinkedIn profile not FB and you will found that what was the variation.

In the bottom I am sorry for your case at the end of the day.

I got the second line on 08.08.2015, processing started date before PER date. ECAS is showing 2 lines.

Well, some lines from the note1 - "Facebook profile found for husband listing him as <designation> at <company name>. No Facebook found ofr applicant"

As you know I am co-applicant. I applied from caipsnotes.com and they charges 40USD. I received it within 30 days time.
