Dont know the impact of due date. May be will not get any update before that. >:( >:(

Rumel Bhai,

Though it is common to go for your MR within 60 days time after receiving the additional docx, however it may delay due to overload of the file processing.

Wish, you will get your MR soon to complete your file processing within their due date...

Best of luck.
+1...

hello members! How are you all?

As usual it would be very helpful if u answer some of my queries-

During landing as a newly immigrant I can take maximum 7000 CAD cash with me. Am I right? I know there are lot of posts about it and someone provided a link of Bangladesh Bank circular too. But I cant find it :-\ Can anyone link me to it plz. Or confirm me about the amount of money.
Another thing is can anyone with visitor visa carry same amount as me?
Thank you! :)

Neon Bhai,

Forget now about your fund declaration during landing at Canada.

From BD travel quota you can take cash USD5000 which is equivalent of CAD6,197 (today int'l rate) and rest of USD2000 can carry CAD from BD which will be around CAD2479. Total TQ USD7000 /annum / adult.

So all together you can carry from your annual Travel quota from BD-
USD5000 + CAD2479 = CAD8,676. But still you can't declare your amount in Canada immigration as it is required more than CAD10,000 for pre declaration against carrying cash/TC. But during your immigration process in Canada officer may ask you about your carrying cash to note down your CoRP form which is TAX free..

Hope it may give you an idea...
Best of luck..

Dear All,

I have applied under FSWP-2014 on last November, 2014 and same was received on 26th November, 2014 confirmed by CIC, CANADA on 16.02.2015. As per their 1st letter, i have been eligible to immigrate to Canada as Human Resource Manager (NOC-0112). They have sent my files to Singapore visa office for further processing and I received an acknowledgement letter from Canadian visa office, Singapore on 20.03.2015. Till then no news or updates or medical request although 3.5 months passed away. My CIC status is still the same as "received application on 26th November,2014". What is actually happening and how long it will take to finalize/get medical request/complete verification ?????????????????????????????????????????

One of my friend applied just before 02 months of my application and his application has been finalized and issued visa last week. Seeing it, I am becoming frustrated whether my application will finally be accepted.

Can any one please advise the real fact as i do not have much idea about this topic.

Regards

Hi All,
passing 92 days post MR (Only MR, no RPRF yet).
As per one of the seniors suggestion, was trying to pay RPRF in advance.
I couldn't pay it, my foreign credit card was not accepted.
Then I asked one of my cousins from canada.
she tried hers and her husband's, both got rejected.
summary, three international cards were rejected paying RPRF.
Seniors, can you shed light/predict any scenario?

This is unfortunate that there were three int'l credit cards has declined at CIC payment system.

However, my suggestion would be to try it again and mean time you need to inform SGVO to raise CSE that your difficulties of RPRF payment and also about your medical completion time by including (scan) your medical receipt from panel physician.

Hope VO will response your query.
Hope for the best...

Actually most of cases VO has sent RPRF in the same time of MR and it is compulsory to pay this fee.
Here is the below link for your easy ref.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/fees/result.asp?countrySelect=BD&lob=rprf

I would suggest without make any delay you could make this payment and send the payment receipt to SGVO. Even though if it is pending your/ your spouse PCC please send along with.

Hope it will speed up your visa process..

Best of luck.

Bhaiya,

You shouldn't go to (ATI). You need to choose only "Citizenship" then you could find out your next step.
Please remember, you can't use BD Int'l / Dual Currency credit card until Bank has allowed to transfer this amount. For this transaction you need to get passport endorse from your annual travel quota. Otherwise your card will decline that transaction.

Best of luck.

Thanks Shamrajjo bhai. :) Now I know that i can take 8K CAD without any problem. I know I don't have to declare in canada if I have less than 10K. I jst wanted to be sure so that I face no problem at Dhaka airport.
Thanks again :D

There is a trick, you don't need to keep whole amount in one bunch. Just spread out in different place then you can carry more money.... (unofficial, ;D). Also you can buy some British Pound.... ;)

Brother... if one takes less than CAD$10000 and USD amount that equivalent to more than CAD$10000, he/ she doesn't need to declare in Canada immigration right?

Hi Bro, if it is more than CAD10,000 then must declare at immigration form either it comes from equivalent of any currency. For Example if you have CAD7000 and +USD3000 means it goes to more than total CAD10,000. So it is required to declare. :D

Hi Bro,

If you get ticket by Tk52K for one way from Dhaka to Toronto then you could buy it. Now it is showing in the net price at Soudi Airlines website and it is not fake but it seems this is off season they are offering promotional price. As I know at this moment if anyone buy ticket (not booking) DAC-NY-DAC only Tk.75K by Etihad on Sep'15 (3 months before). So it could be same as NY and Toronto flight rate almost same.
