Dear Forum Members,

Need your suggestion urgently regarding my application.

Recently on June 02, 2015 I have got email from CIC saying I need to do paternity and maternity test. From the letter I realised I have mentioned my “Step sister” as my “Sister” mistakenly in my additional family information form. I have sent them a letter of explanation about the mistake and also said I am ready to do whatever test deems required by CIC. I have send them, her birth certification, her passport copy, my father's second marriage certificate copy.
I am very sad, everything looks like falling apart  I do not know if CIC accepts explanation letter at this point. I am already done with medical tests.
Now I need suggestion what should I do? Should I do the paternity and maternity immediately (they asked me to do that to prove that my sister is my sister since we have age gap of 24 years and they are not convinced, however that was a mistake from my end) or wait for reply from CIC based on my clarification sent to them?

Your suggestion will be very helpful. Since I am doing my application by myself so ca not get any lawyer advise at this point.

Thank you in advance

Very sad indeed..
You should do whatever VO ask to do.
I think in this case your need to do test like DNA test for all of your family member you, Father, Mother & Sister.

You can search about this case for your better idea and where you need to do in BD.

Best of luck.

Dear All,

I am here to share a good news today. Got a call from our agency and confirmed that we have received our MR, at last! Alhamdulillah!!! As you can see I am one of the unfortunate 2013 applicants, who received a second line update on October, 2014 (on the 13th to be precise) but didn't get through last year's MR rain.

Fortunately though, got the MR now. One more applicant of 2013 got MR yesterday. He was also stuck on a second line from last November. Our mail was received on the 3rd of June by our lawyer, but got informed today.

It seems like SGVO has started sending the Pending MRs with 2nd line update of Oct/Nov last year. I am a silent follower of the group and cannot thank you guys enough for the mental support each member has provided.

I hope and pray to the Almighty that all of us gets relieved from the pain of waiting and get our MRs soon. Hang in there, good news is on the way.. Inshallah.

Thank you guys...cheers.

Tausif. :)

Great News after a long time.
BIG Congrats for you.

+1 .....

Query :Validity of canada visa

Dear Seniors ,
Good day !
I had a query regarding validity of canads visa. From my experience,
I know the validity of aus visa is 5 yrs.Within 6 months/more,one has to
give first entry .Then one can move to australia anytime before visa expiry date (within 5 yrs).

What about canada visa ? Is it similar to aus visa ?

Thanks
Azad

Hi Bro,

For PR visa ~

First of all, the visa is issued and receive passport back with the Visa Valid for one year from the date of your medical test.

Secondly, to be eligible for Canadian citizenship, you must have lived in Canada for at least three years (1,095 days) out of the four years (1,460 days) preceding your application. Please note that you cannot meet the residence requirements for citizenship without a minimum of two (2) years as a permanent resident.

https://eservices.cic.gc.ca/rescalc/resCalcStartNew.do

And finally, if you have enough money to travel you can go and come in-between two countries to alive your PR status....

Hope it may help you to get your point.

Best of luck.

*** Landed Canada Safely ***

By the grace of almighty, reached Canada 6th of June by Turkish air. Currently at windsor,my elder sisters house.

Want to share few of my landing experience here...

Turkish air took about 21 hrs from Dhaka to Toronto which was pretty fine considering the travelling time with only about 2 hrs transit at Istanbul. But it made me pretty tired as seats were very congested (obviously it was economy class). So, it was hard to relax and had a hard time to spent without any intermission and with ugly foods :-[

However, Bangladeshi immigration police was pretty kind to me ( may b they saw my tears as i was leaving my mom behind). They just asked "what's your profession?" and "Please look at this web cam, need to take a photo.". Then i was amazed hearing "Thank you Sir." ya, they called me 'Sir' and i didn't expect so polite behavior from them. Really felt pleased.

In istanbul, there was a security check with no hassle.

After reaching Toronto, had to fill up a form stating my name , how many money(if more than 10000 CAD) do i have etc. Form was checked by an official and then i was sent to immigration officer. Immigration officer took my COPR, checked the passport and asked whether im gonna stay ( PR card will be sent there after about 7 weeks, he said). Then he returned the client copy of my COPR and wished me luck.

After taking my luggage , have to cross another interrogation counter. Many had to open their bags in front of those counter to show the officials. But i was not asked to do so. the officer just asked how many money do i have and let me go. Thats all..

So the whole process was pretty smooth.

Everybody please pray for me as now comes the time to battle on the field.

NB: It would be helpful if anyone update my landing date in the spreed sheet.
