Was your occupation in Facebbok and LinkedIn the same to the experience you submitted for NOC?

My linkedin was Voice Manager and when I applied i was used voice manager.
once i got promoted then during sending MR invoice adn RPRF payment, i changed my designation at background file and send to VO.
infact, in my GCMS i foudn that they told me that they got my designation same as voice manager as per my initial submission of expereine letter from office.

Hi guys due to short of time and being in abroad I am going to send my passport by courier and planing to get back in post office address.do u know how the visa office send my passport is it by any prepaid return courier service? Again is it track able? How can I be sure that they are sending my passport back? Any chance to get email? If missed any way what to do then? If not received where it would be?

I advice you not to send passport by courier. It is unclear how SGVO will send your passport back if you send passport by courier. It might get stuck at the
visa office for indefinite time. Also in some country it is illegal to send passport using courier. Since your living in a foreign country it will be very
difficult for you to live if you give away your passport without knowing how and when that will be return to you.

I would suggest rise the use to VO and use VFS or other standard way to deliver passport regardless of how much additional time it need.

Dear Forum Members,

Need your suggestion urgently regarding my application.

Recently on June 02, 2015 I have got email from CIC saying I need to do paternity and maternity test. From the letter I realised I have mentioned my “Step sister” as my “Sister” mistakenly in my additional family information form. I have sent them a letter of explanation about the mistake and also said I am ready to do whatever test deems required by CIC. I have send them, her birth certification, her passport copy, my father's second marriage certificate copy.
I am very sad, everything looks like falling apart  I do not know if CIC accepts explanation letter at this point. I am already done with medical tests.
Now I need suggestion what should I do? Should I do the paternity and maternity immediately (they asked me to do that to prove that my sister is my sister since we have age gap of 24 years and they are not convinced, however that was a mistake from my end) or wait for reply from CIC based on my clarification sent to them?

Your suggestion will be very helpful. Since I am doing my application by myself so ca not get any lawyer advise at this point.

Thank you in advance

This is actually a bad situation. I have also step sisters and I mention them in my family form clearly. You should post this problem in other thread of this forum.
Like FSW 2014 main thread and old thread singapore 2013 to get more expert advice.

Query :Validity of canada visa

Dear Seniors ,
Good day !
I had a query regarding validity of canads visa. From my experience,
I know the validity of aus visa is 5 yrs.Within 6 months/more,one has to
give first entry .Then one can move to australia anytime before visa expiry date (within 5 yrs).

What about canada visa ? Is it similar to aus visa ?

Thanks
Azad

Hi All,

I am just reading the news and feel to share with you...
I should say it is a GOOD news for who are waiting from long~~~

"New citizenship applications are being finalized in a year or less, and it is expected that the backlog of older files will have been eliminated by the end of this fiscal year. Individuals who submitted a citizenship application before April 1, 2015 will have a decision by March 31, 2016"

Thanx... Is it true that all of the July applications have been transferred to Manila from Singapore?? If this is so, then what will happen to us means the July applicants?? How much time it should take to get an MR??

Dear Bhi,
Indeed its a great news but in my observation its related to those PR holders who are already in Canada.

Because, if you read the Key changes include (in force June 11, 2015):
"Adult applicants must now be physically present in Canada for at least 1,460 days (four years) during the six years before the date of their application, and they must be physically present in Canada for at least 183 days in each of four calendar years within the qualifying period. This is aimed at ensuring that citizenship applicants develop a strong attachment to Canada."

So, i think this modification not related to us who are still waiting for MR/PR.
