Dear All,

I am here to share a good news today. Got a call from our agency and confirmed that we have received our MR, at last! Alhamdulillah!!! As you can see I am one of the unfortunate 2013 applicants, who received a second line update on October, 2014 (on the 13th to be precise) but didn't get through last year's MR rain.

Fortunately though, got the MR now. One more applicant of 2013 got MR yesterday. He was also stuck on a second line from last November. Our mail was received on the 3rd of June by our lawyer, but got informed today.

It seems like SGVO has started sending the Pending MRs with 2nd line update of Oct/Nov last year. I am a silent follower of the group and cannot thank you guys enough for the mental support each member has provided.

I hope and pray to the Almighty that all of us gets relieved from the pain of waiting and get our MRs soon. Hang in there, good news is on the way.. Inshallah.

Application received by CIC: 20th Aug'14
PER: 9th Dec'14
AOR: 16th Jan'15

After that there is no update. What should I do now? Experts Please advise me. My NOC: 2133. Applied from Bangladesh. Visa office Singapore. Should I go for GCMS notes?

Alhamdulillah, Received PPR on 1st June.
Submitted the passport on 4th June and on the same day got Ecas updated as DM.

You may send your PP through VFS . It is safe . I think your PPR mail already mentioned about how to send PP for VISA stamping . Pls follow the link and contact with VFS

Well I think its better to send it through VFS. most of the ppl use VFS. so have no idea about courier thing..i guess u have to have an account with the courier or something...not sure. usually it takes 1 month to get back the passport with visa but ofcourse time may vary.

I am confused on filling up IMM 5669E. the doubt is in month. consider the following scenarios.

• From 1st January 2014 to 30th March 2014 I worked in company A. then I moved to company B.
• From 1st April 2014 to 15th May 2014. I worked in company B. then i moved to company C.
• From 15th May 2014 to 30th June 2014 I worked in company C .
• From 1st July 2014 to 31th July 2014 I remained Unemployed.
• From 1st August 2014 to 31th August I worked in company D.
• From 1st september 2014 to present (july 2015) I worked in company E.

so what should I fill up in the table?

I am called for medical and to submit IMM5669 for me and my spouse. but I submitted IMM5669E (schedule background declaration) once when i applied in the last year. I am confused whether I submitted the information incorrectly.

It is stayed that if the given space in the form is not sufficient enough i can use additional paper. so that i filled up all the boxes in the IMM5669 with the line 'Enclosed in additional page' and with Microsoft word in a blank paper I wrote IMM 5669E – Additional Page then my name then
the question number, made a table with the exact column names and filled up my information there. Is it ok?


In dhaka there are three enlisted doctors for medical check up. in there any preferred one ?

I am May 14 applicant. I guess many may applicant still did not receive MR and someone like us who completed MR and RPRF still sitting idle for Passport request.
Any idea, what SGVO is doing with our files and what is the status of express entry and on going PNP.

Hi guys due to short of time and being in abroad I am going to send my passport by courier and planing to get back in post office address.do u know how the visa office send my passport is it by any prepaid return courier service? Again is it track able? How can I be sure that they are sending my passport back? Any chance to get email? If missed any way what to do then? If not received where it would be?

I am new here. Me and my husband applied on 22nd July, 2014 under FSW scheme (my husband was the main applicant) and NOC code is 2171. We have got AOR at 23rd Nov, 2014. Singapore visa office excepted our application at 24th Dec, 2014. Till then there is no update of our application. What is going on with the applications of July??? Has any applicant of July got the MR yet??

Dear Forum Members,

Need your suggestion urgently regarding my application.

Recently on June 02, 2015 I have got email from CIC saying I need to do paternity and maternity test. From the letter I realised I have mentioned my “Step sister” as my “Sister” mistakenly in my additional family information form. I have sent them a letter of explanation about the mistake and also said I am ready to do whatever test deems required by CIC. I have send them, her birth certification, her passport copy, my father’s second marriage certificate copy.
I am very sad, everything looks like falling apart  I do not know if CIC accepts explanation letter at this point. I am already done with medical tests.
Now I need suggestion what should I do? Should I do the paternity and maternity immediately (they asked me to do that to prove that my sister is my sister since we have age gap of 24 years and they are not convinced, however that was a mistake from my end) or wait for reply from CIC based on my clarification sent to them?

Your suggestion will be very helpful. Since I am doing my application by myself so ca not get any lawyer advise at this point.

1. Group Orientation Session (GO Session) 16 June: One full day, Start time 8:30am to 5:00pm. Overview of Canada, the current economic situation, overview of Canadian provinces and regions, understanding destination and occupation options, challenges facing newcomers in finding jobs, solutions to those problems, writing a Canadian resume, taking a Canadian interview.

2. After attending the Go session you will need to attend the My Action Plan Session (MAP Session) either on 17,18 or 19 June 2015 for duration of 1 to 1.5 hours. The MAP Session is a personalized one-to-one session with a Canadian trained CIIP Orientation Officer, where you will develop an action plan, and receive direct referrals to Canadian organizations that assist immigrants. You will be notified of your MAP Session time in advance.
